Patrick!
"Ok kid, knock on the door." Seth told Leanne who was sitting up on his shoulders. Patrick didn't know that they were coming over but he figured that what fun was life without surprises? Besides how could he turn away such a sweet face? (Leanne's not his come on now)

"Play time with Patty!" she squealed as she banged on the door while Seth just smirked. Teaching your kid to say things had to be the best thing ever. "That's right. Be sure to say hello just like that when he opens the door." Okay, so Seth was ninety nine percent sure that Patrick was going to be in the range of slightly annoyed yet amused to very annoyed and not slightly amused. But the annoyance was Seth's forte. After all was said and done, and he was that appropriate shade of red he'd tell him about the cup tickets he got for him.

"PATTY! Playtime!" Leanne said clapping her hands when the door opened. "Hey Patty. Care to come out and play? Bring Emily along."

He frowned at the unexpected appearance of Seth and his daughter, but Patrick figured that his sick day couldn't get much worse. He and Emily had caught some sort of cold and had been stuck on potions for the past three days. Lyssandra was all about teasing him about his crippling virus, but honestly, if he sneezed once in front of Edward he was sure the man would have a panic attack and disinfect the entire offices.

Plus, it gave for some father-daughter bonding time. Even if Emily wasn't much of a talker, she still had taken to following him around the flat when Lyssandra was around. It was better than completely ignoring him, or being terrified at the sight of her step-father, yeah? The little girl peeked out from behind his legs up at Seth and Leanne, and Patrick swept her up from behind.

"Excuse the runny noses," Patrick said as he opened the door for his best friend. "We're not contagious, but greatly irritable."

"'mily! Down! Down! Plaaay!" Leanne tugged on his hair to emphasize the point.

"Ow. ow. Okay. Chill. Bringing you down now. There run off, go play. Don't cause Daddy anymore bodily harm" he said putting her on the ground.

"Irritable and non-contagious. My favorite combination. Have you been following quidditch news lately?"

"Quidditch? You know once the season's over and my Tornadoes are out of it, I don't pay any attention," Patrick said with a yawn, shutting the door behind him. He smiled at Leanne and Emily, and was glad that one of his mates had a kid to help with this process. If you'd asked any of his family, Patrick would never have been pegged as someone who wanted a wife and kids. But--with Lyssandra, and of course Emily, it didn't feel like the pressure he'd always felt when it came to settling down.

It felt more like finishing a puzzle, it was satisfying and a good, good feeling.

"So what have you done now? Impregnate your keeper?"

"My keeper is a guy!" Seth said very horrified at the mere idea. "Merlin, I haven't even slept with anyone since the Quidditch Auction, which mind you, wasn't planned." Seth shuddered thinking of what Patrick just said. Ugh such a very scarring thought.

"I'm playing for England in the Cup. I am capable of having news not involving sex and or restraining orders, thank you very much." Seth said with a small huff and a half hearted glare. "I suppose I'll just have to find someone else to give my extra tickets to."

Patrick's face of fake surprise stayed with him until Seth mentioned the extra tickets. Really, now? Patrick casually dropped down into his favorite chair and watched the two girls play, waiting for Seth to jump off his high horse and get down to business.

"Really, now? I guess that's all right---I've got my Italian side to root for, you know---might not be the best of English supporters..."

He grinned, leaning forward. "But if you'd like to get me a set of tickets, I'm sure the missus would be most willing to fully convert me to the Brit side."
