It's a Match
Maxine was working on the DNA test for the blood from the fight scene that Maria had mentioned. It had been a long shot that they were going to find anything testing the DNA for a match but still it had to be done since you never know. Plus it would give them the DNA profile for future use in case the ever needed it.

Maxine was listening to Beyonce on her IPod when the results came up. “No way,” Maxine said get up suddenly from her seat this was big news

As fast as you could Maxine had a message sent out to all the people she felt would want to hear about this saying, Big New About the Red Hood meet me in the Batcave.

	Marissa showed up, quietly and out of uniform. She was tired and though she hadn't really taken a "night off", that was pretty much what she'd told people she'd done. As it was, she almost didn't show up. She was still trying to sort out the mess with Keith. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"OK so I've run the DNA test on the sample we got of the Red Hood," Maxine says in front of the Bat-computer.

"We didn't get a match but there was something we did find," She explain, "There was a fifty percent match for someone."

She press a button and a picture of Jason Todd appeared up on the screen.

"It was a fifty percent match to Jason Todd," she says, "He's his son."

"Not it," Maxine calls out.

"Probably should let Dick and Tim know too," She says, "I know Tim was fighting with Bruce about not taking enough action against him earlier."

"I'll run some checks but we are going to need more than DNA or finger prints most likely," Maxine says, "I'd bet Jason pulled something like Bruce where there's no record anywhere of those anywhere like he did with us."

	After Maria had talked to Bruce. Maxine sent Bruce a message asking him if he could help her out to see if they could pull up any new information that she hadn't been able to find herself. She could be found at the bat computer trying to find out what she could. (Reply to this)(Thread)

Bruce walked up close to the computer with a very neutral expression on his face. He didn't say much when he was told what happened, other than that it was only a matter of time. Bruce expected that some day Jason would have a child, but he didn't fully expect that child to take after his father in any regard.

Though, one thing was for sure; it didn't seem like this kid cared much about Bruce or Batman.

"What else have you found out?"

	There were other places to investigate, though. "Expand your search into the files on Talia al Ghul," Bruce instructed. Any child Jason had, there was going to be some involvement on Talia's part. Whether the kid knew it or not. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"I'll tell you when I see something," he said. He had kept records of some of Talia's financial accounts in the past, though it wasn't likely she'd still be using many of them. Especially for this kid.

"Given what this kid is doing, it isn't likely that he associates with the League of Assassins on friendlier terms. His only good relationship there might be with Talia, given her relationship with Jason, and it would most likely be monetary."

Doesn't make any of it healthy, though.

Maxine pulled up all the files on Talia as well and set them up on another screen as well so that Bruce could look through them himself for whatever he was looking for.

"Shooting up criminals like he is not likely at all he really associates with them," Maxine says, "I tried entering what information I have into my id program but unless I can narrow down my search field somehow It probably won't do any good."

"Should we start looking at time Jason has been unaccounted for?"

	"I'll run it through the system on an expanded search," Maxine says, "If she's there well find her. But we didn't pick up anything on her in the initial search that picked up Jason. I think we might need more data and time before we are going to start really narrowing down the search." (Reply to this)(Parent)
