I Hope, if Nothing More... (A few months down the road)
Beatrice Dayspring could be rash when the situation called for it. When it didn't, she took her time, and did it right.

She observed. Considered. And, in this case, she gradually scheduled her additional workouts at the same time as Manny's.... and gradually wore increasingly less covering skintight suits while working out.

...and let her power keep her very aware of every aspect of his physiological reactions during exercise. Just... hoping...

	Oh yes, he noticed the increasingly skimpy outfits. Being born an armadillo-man didn't make him any less a red-blooded male complete with hormones. He chalked it up to her being more comfortable around him. Still, she didn't make it easy. He often found himself wiping away sweat not inspired by working out. (Reply to this)(Thread)

And it doesn't escape her awareness field. Not even the most easily concealed parts of the reaction. Well, that was good. Physical chemistry -- of the kind other than combat cooperation -- was feasible.

It didn't guarantee her anything emotionally, but he was such a sweet guy. Friendship could be expanded. Progress could be made. ...Bea needed to stop thinking of this quite so professionally.

"Well, that's a good start to the day," she says at the end of a workout. "After we clean up ... do you like mimosas, Manny?"
