Nick had been tossing the idea around in his brain for some time now and the recent events in New York had brought it back to the front of his mind. It was about time S.H.I.E.L.D. started taking a more active role in dealing with the powered set out there.

Nick had gone through some files and had selected a few candidates. Luckily some were already agents. Others he would have to go have a chat with.

"Get Sammy in here," he said over the intercom. "And round up agents Childress, Alice Dugan and Walker. I want to see them as well."

	Johnny dropped into an at ease position, but kept his expression carefully schooled. Fury's daughter. 	He could be forgiven this once for thinking she needed Daddy to fight her battles. Sammy didn't know Johnny, only by sight in passing. She didn't think they'd ever had a conversation of any sort. 	Alice made her way to Commander Fury's office as quickly as she got the message. At the time, she'd been in class, but getting a call from the head of S.H.I.E.L.D qualified as a pretty damn good reason to cut out early. Once she arrived at the office, she knocked on the door. 	Dad hadn't really listed a reason why Alice was to be on a team of powered agents that Sammy could find in her friend's file, but then Dad didn't always make it easy. There had to be a good reason and it was up to Sammy to find it. It had to be Alice at the office door since she was the last one on Dad's appearance list today. She called out for her to come in. 	Del had been up to her eyes in paperwork and had glanced at the clock just in time to not be late for her meeting. Well, it wasn't paperwork, but she had no idea what S.H.I.E.L.D. wanted with her.
