Regrouping
As soon as arrangements had been made, Robert and Morgaine hopped on the first plane out of Greece to Star City. Morgaine had slept most of the way, wanting to save her strength.

When they arrived in Star City, they got a car under a fake name and Morgaine drove them to Lian's apartment building.

"I should warn you," she said when they arrived, "She will most likely not be happy to see me. I will try and talk to her, but she might resort to attack."

The pair quietly made their way to Lian's apartment, and Morgaine quickly picked the lock on the door.

She couldn't believe who she saw when her and Robert entered the room.

"I thought...I thought..."

In something she rarely did, Morgaine ran to her brother, embracing him.

Damien's father brought him a sword to use, which was out when he heard the door lock being picked. He nodded to his father and waited, weapon raised.

When he sees Morgaine, however, Damien's eyes nearly fall out of his head, and he lowers his sword.

"Father, wait." Damien commands, hugging his little sister.

"I thought you were...is Mother with you? Did she escape?" Damien asks.

For the moment, he doesn't notice Robert.

"We're getting information as we speak." Slade says, lowering his weapon. He nods curtly at Morgan and somewhat slighter at Robert.

The fact that he'd walked in with /her/ of all people was a warning bell in Slade's head. Considering that Slade himself had been the one to hire Merlyn for Robert's test, which led to Merlyn's death, he found it odd that they were in each other's company.

He wasn't sure that he liked where this was going.

"We should have something soon."

	Having been informed that Robert and Morgaine were in Star City, Rose hopped on her bike and made her way over to Lian's apartment. She went upstairs and opened the door, letting herself in. Damien leads Rose to a corner of the room and nods to her.

"Hello, Sister. I know that we do not know each other well, but I would like to change this, when this is all over. If you find yourself seeking work, please let me know. I would be happy to work with someone of your skill." Damien says.

"I am not sure how much you know of me, but I am not interested in being enemies." he says.

Though...if Father's disappointments are any indication, I'd believe that you care nothing about family." Damien says, looking her in the eye.

"I've done some research on you, Rose, and you have a history of choosing strangers over your family members, except for Joseph, if I understand correctly.

He at least agreed to lunch with me and we had a decent conversation. I often wonder what Grant would think of both of us if he were here today." Damien says.

"But if you gave me half the chance you've given Robert Queen, you would find that I am good to my family members. Ask Morgaine if you need proof."

"You are my sister, and for that, I will always be there for you. I know that means little to you in the scheme of things, but family means /everything/ to me.

Our father taught me that. I understand that he did not receive the gift of time with you that your mother did. I am trying to keep that history from repeating itself with my own children.

Do try to think better of me." Damien requests.
