I have been asked to play a transgendered student in a Student Film. If I weren't trying to sock away money for a key fee for a new apartment, I would pass on the role since Auditions are so close.

As it is, however, I need the extra money.

Oh. That. Yes, many actors are very cut-throat. However, I often find that talent trumps drive. I have no malice toward any other actor-in fact, I hope they all break a leg. There is no point for me to 'eat up' any other actor. It would be rude.

Why not auditions? We've all got to be there anyway. Or, oh, I have a monologue due for the directing class tomorrow...I think that's open to the department.

Any time is fine by me. It's always a pleasure to meet fellow actors.
