Be My Valentine
Living with three women, especially the women in his family, for over a year had taught James quite a few things about women and what they liked. Valentine's Day had come and James had to do something for Valeria. He did wish that Anya was around to ask for her advice, but he'd muddle through somehow.

He didn't have the Stark name to throw around to get into nice places, but he did know someone who could hook him up. A week ago he had wandered into Stark Inc and talked to Pepper. Pepper could make the arrangements James needed and also give him advice. James was not afraid to admit that he was clueless when it came to these types of things.

With Pepper's help, plans had been made and the day had finally arrived.

James put on a suit, bought flowers (daisies, not roses) and showed up at the Baxter Building.

Valeria was equally as clueless when it came to what to do for Valentine's Day. Yes, she knew that it was a day for couples to express how they felt about each other, everyone knew that. She'd just...never had someone for that before.

With Andrea's help, she'd found the perfect navy blue dress for the evening, and bought a pretty decent sized box of assorted chocolates for James.

When they buzzed up to tell her that James was here to see her, Valeria was already in the elevator on her way down to the see him.

"Hi James!" Valeria waved to him to grab his attention before walking over to him. "You look handsome." She smiled, kissing him. "Happy Valentine's Day."

	"You look beautiful," he said before she kissed him. He smiled when the kiss ended. "Happy Valentine's Day." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box with a bow on it. "For you," he said as he offered the box and the daisies. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

James smiled and hailed a cab for them.

It didn't take long to get to the Mesa Bar and Grill. They were shown to a table in a private room. There were flowers around the room, but not roses. James had told Pepper that roses were too serious at the moment. Pepper went with daisies and the flowers made the room bright and cheery.

It reminded him of Val.

He pulled out her chair for her and waited.

	James was full, for the moment, as he lead Valeria out of the restaurant. Pepper had made arrangements for an after dinner activity. James hailed a cab for them. "Are you full?" he asked while the cab pulled up. (Reply to this)(Thread)
