VINNY • let's be real, these two are the ultimate survivors, the king and queen of hufflepuff that all other hufflepuffs must pay homage to upon induction into hufflepuff valesco society. while right now vinny is the ultimate support system to gleny, i know that once their romantics kick in he will be the person to ultimately help her achieve her former self, in the sense that she will be social, and happy, and not plagued by the ruins left by the war. he is simply that one person she knows will never fail her, and always comes back.
GIDEON • gideon will always be gleny's first love, the one she dreamed growing old with and having many, many children with, in addition to someone she thought she would not be able to function on without. he helped her grow into a beautiful person over the years, from this chatty annoying twit to her former golden queen of social life self that I don't think she can quite capture at the moment. but regardless of his death, he will always be her everything.

SEBASTIAN • sebastian is, without a doubt, mackenzie's soul mate. until she met him, she really didn't believe in true love, had never really thought that love like what they have was something she would obtain in her lifetime. mackenzie owes sebastian everything, her entire life would be 100% different without him, and he makes her so happy because he allows her to be who she is. he is the only person her because despite who close she is with caradoc, or use to be with evan, they never... have been as faithful to her as sebastian has, unwaveringly. and she just wants to make millions of sebastian babies so as many people in the world can be AS WONDERFUL AS HIM! she is just one of those people that wakes up everyday more in love with him than the day before.

BIANCA • I think it says a lot that for a person like mira who so defines herself by men only thinks of bianca as her 'true love.' and not in a romantic way (okay sometimes romantic, but only when it's play time), but in that their souls are just connected? it sounds funny to say, but mira just loves bianca so much, and I don't think their is a specific reason or example why, she just does, unconditionally. and she was SO SAD WHEN BIANCA MOVED OUT AND LEFT HER TO BE A BIG GIRL AND HAVE A BABY, and i think a part of mira really hates bertram for taking bianca away from her, but she wants what is best for her bff, so she lets him live. mira wants nothing but the best for bianca, and i think that's because she is an incredibly insecure person, and bianca has been the only person to not make her feel that way. or, at least, like someone who will always do what is best for her, no selfishness. and mira is a pretty selfish person, so she understands how difficult it is to not be.

ARISTA • arista has been with saoirse from the very beginning, and i think that is why saoirse allows arista in the most out of everyone. there is a lot of unspoken trust between the two, which is only helped by their similar attitudes concerning life, its purpose, and how to live it. but for saoirse, arista has always been... she's the only one to have met her family, a very emotional subject for saoirse, and arista I think was the only person to be aware of saoirse's summer struggles of maintaining the balance with her family and honing her quidditch talent. And when the time came that her parents effectively kicked her out, the only person saoirse could bear to tell, face the facts to, and show up at her door begging for a place to sleep, would have been arista's.

DRYSTAN • i can't convey enough just how much saoirse heeds, respects,
HOWELL • THIS IS JUMPING THE GUN A BIT BUT their potential is just... i'm not really sure, but i love it. saoirse is not a particularly loving, emotional, or even friendly person, but when she thinks of howell she melts from this grumpy-cat-in-training to someone that wants to smile and smell flowers? and almost trust people? i think howell has the potential to help her be a better person, and she already practically trusts him which is... not something that can be said for many people in her life. they're young, and i think it helps that they are eerily similar concerning their past experiences/lives even though they don't know it yet. I'M JUST REALLY EXCITED TO SEE how they help each other grow, and be better people, because they out of any couple i have has the potential to do that flawlessly. i just get this great image of a beyonce/jay z power couple that do their own thing all the time and don't need to be all over each other everywhere in people's faces to be happy with their lives.

EMMELINE • emmeline and anneliese have always devoted unwavering support to each other. who else would write a book about their best friend's love life? and who else would stay quiet when their best friend married their undoubtable mortal enemy? what make anneliese and emmeline have such a strong connection and love is that they don't let anyone or anything else get in the way of each other, which makes them quietly special in their friendship. anneliese not knowing about emmeline's involvement in the order i think has subconsciously created space between them, but they aren't the kind of people that need to know everything that is going on about each other all the time to be close. that's what makes them work.
WILL • will came into anneliese's life at a turbulent time, and he was nothing but sweet and attractive and everything she needed in a significant other even though she wasn't looking for it. like emmeline and anneliese, will and anneliese share the ability to not let anyone else get in the way of them and how they feel for each other. and while this is in the future, i know that she will distance herself from will after OotP, but she would never stop loving him, thinking about him, or caring for him. their love is a subconscious kind, i think, one that doesn't need to be addressed or given attention to.

DRYSTAN • let's be honest odette would have died a lot time ago without drystan. he has been her best friend, practical brother and protector for how many years, and i question if they have ever really gotten into a huge fight because they both know they need each other in their lives, and know they wouldn't fair well without each other either. she would do anything for him, illegal, legal, what have you without blinking an eyelash. maybe it has something to do with their obvious missorting, or the fact that they are obviously twins in an au universe, but these two were cut from the same tree and for that i love them. no bullshit, which they are entirely too good at, no charade or facade, which i think keeps the real, true sides of them alive because of each other. in the fast-pace public world they are consumed by, i think they have kept each other true to who they are as people. NOAH • if it wasn't for noah, odette will still be a drunken druggie spending her nights out far too late and thinking her life would be well spent between that and quidditch. he changed her for the better, without a doubt. and while she does have her occasional hiccup, he showed her that having a family, and children, was something that she wanted and would enjoy. they also are honestly only made for each other, being spectacularly sarcastic and miserable toward humanity, which is ironic because it in turn makes them.... happy and pleasant. who'd of thought? they are perfect for each other, the reason why they have the same friends, same mentality, same everything. everyday noah makes odette a better person, not in a changing her kind of way, but a way that makes her a better version of who she should be.

THOMAS • thomas and rose's relationship blurs the lines of what... relationships are. but in a good way! they are similar, and because of that I think they are able to get what they need from each other even if it's not exactly traditional. rose would do anything for thomas, without question, because she knows that without him during school, and now, she would be no where close to who she is as a person. which is still a work in progress, but at least she talks and stands up for herself most of the time. rose thinks of thomas like the ultimate mash up of a brother/adviser/exlover/ , someone that will always be there for her no matter what, and someone that will always have her best interest at heart. i think at one point during school she might have misread these thoughts as love, or maybe they are.... it's really unclear to me honestly. but regardless labeling what they have between them as simply friendship doesn't exactly encompass everything. larkin marie whitby  NICO • NICO IS, WITHOUT A DOUBT, her brother from another family. I have no idea how this two functioned without each other for the first eleven years in their lives, but they somehow managed and found each other never to be separated again. a lot of subconscious emotional support is exchanged between them, which i think helps in their treatment of each other. they don't need to tell each other everything, and it's not like they would get mad about kept secrets (i think, at least), because they respect each other, and have helped mold each other, enough that... it's almost like it doesn't matter? if that makes sense. their relationship reminds me of twins as well, maybe this is the universe telling us we need to have twins?
