Reading such news of the death of my dear friend Octavia has put me in what I believe to be my darkest hour. I curse myself for not making more effort to visit with her lately, for that time lost is time I shall never be given back. She was my closest friend and one of the few human beings in whom I could truly confide. The world is undoubtedly a worse place for her absence.

My dear friends, let this be a lesson to hold those whom you love near, for one day they could be spirited away from you in the blink of an eye.

Rest in Peace, Octavia, darling. You will be more missed than I can begin to say.

Very well said, Ms. Yaxley. It is always unfortunate to have ourselves reminded of such a thing, but we must remember that life is fleeting and precious for some.

Thank you, Mister Selwyn. Following the report of the tragedy, I myself quickly went to see my brother and his family, as well as my dear parents... This has without a doubt struck fear into my heart that the next could be any one of those whom I hold dear.

I pray the killer is found and brought to justice as soon as possible, for this will not stand.

I am sure that the authorities will do whatever is in their power to solve all of this as soon as possible. Until then, we should be most worried about dear Octavia's surviving family.

I'm certain. I have absolutely no full faith in our disgusting brave Auror force.

I should go to visit her brother, possibly. I cannot imagine what pain he must be enduring.
