Once upon a time...in a land far, far away...
Dawn broke through Jenny's window with all the subtly of a battering ram. She covered her head with her pillow to block the light and for the first time noticed the noise. What was that? It sounded like...birds? Birds on steroids.

Snarling mumbled threats, she threw the pillow aside to get up and close the drapes when she noticed a few things.

One - she wasn't in her bed. She wasn't in a bed at all. She was in a forest dressed like bloody Cinderella running from the ball.

Two - the sun was dawning relentlessly through the trees and those birds were grouped on branches in twos and threes, dementedly singing their little birdbrains out.

Three - she appeared to be alone. If there was a God, this would be a nightmare and she could wake up any second now.

Right?

	Quinn woke up in the middle of a forest and wondered where in all of the known hells he was. He tried casting a few spells to find out where he was and one to teleport himself home, but none were working as they should. Well he couldn't just stay out here, so the only thing he could do was start walking and hope that he came across someone or a town. (Reply to this)(Thread)

Jenny heard the sounds of someone walking toward her and reached for the sword that she didn't have here. Why would she expect it? In a demented happy world?

The precious seconds she spent looking for something to defend herself with were all in vain. At least it Quinn walking through the trees toward her. She hardly needed protection from him.

"At least in this dream you have clothes on," she grumbled when he was close enough. "Wake me up so I can get out of this nightmare, will you?"

	"Another person in this would make it so much better. Not." Jenny gathered up her infuriatingly pretty skirts and started walking. "If I'm not asleep, and I haven't seen Merlin around here...yet...do you have any idea what this place might be? "Don't even have the bloody sword," she grumbled. Her walking was more like stomping, or would be if she hadn't been wearing delicate, high-heeled shoes. The last time she'd seen such an outfit was on one of her fairy princess dolls as a kid. Before she learned that fairies and magic weren't the happy-ever-after the books wanted you to believe.

"If it's Otherworld, there should be someone here that can either send us back or tell us how to get back?"
