The selkies have been part of the island for centuries now. These seal people, at one time, flourished on the island and were quite happy with their village on Hedland beach.

Selkies are beings that are half human and half seal. When upon land they are human and when in the water they morph into their seal form. The selkie people love the water and don't like being too far from the ocean or rivers and lake of the island. They, naturally, have formed close bonds with the Vatnadis and Lagrimas Irmoes.

Unfortunately the tribe has (for unknown reason) slowly deteriorated into just the six remaining selkies when their used to be hundreds. Strange and unexpected deaths and disappearances have plagued the tribe for decades now. The remaining few try and stay strong with hopes of reviving the tribe back into the tribe that seems to only exist in fairy tales now.
