Celebrity Demands
I saw an interesting bit on tv about celebrities and demands.  So...

If you were a celebrity, what would your backstage demands be?

Anything and everything would be delivered by women in bikinis with breasts no smaller than double d's.

A band lives on its staff. If I were a big enough celebrity to be making demands... the venue must provide free beer and steak dinners for all the roadies and sound crews once tear-down was done.

But I don't want to be a celebrity! I want to do their hair and make up!

If any of my employees were jocks in high school than they'd have to be tansferred to laundry duty.

Are you referring to any athletes with that policy, or only the bully type?

In my experience every athlete I met WAS a bully. I just came to associate them with that behavior.

Well, let me tell you your experience was highly abnormal. The football team in Keystone had plenty of very nice guys. As does the Cal team.

With respect Ruth, and the possible threat of Jay coming after me for pointing this out, but you're a pretty girl. It's natural that they'd respond better to you than a skinny nerd.

Thank you for the compliment, but I don't appreciate the implications about Jay's integrity.

Sorry, but I've learned from harsh experience what those bigger and stronger than you can do if you slight them, real or imagined. Not saying your boyfriend's like that, but these days I'm always prepared.

The crew would all have to wear platform shoes so I don't have to look down all the time.

That me and my tase-bots would be given free rein to deal with paparazzi.

DJ's is great, but the best celebrity demands are orchestrated to make sure someone's paying attention. In the contract, the midst of all the requirements for the stage in order that we can use our equipment safely, there would be a demand for some oyster crackers. If we show up and they don't give me my oyster crackers, then we know we can't trust them to care about the band or crew's safety.

That curtains not be spread over anything. It is difficult to hear a wall with curtains on it.

Pauline. :D

But seriously, if I'm a celebrity and I'm backstage, I hope I'm doing last-minute checks on my designs before releasing their actually humanoid-shaped wearers onto the runway.

...okay, and maybe a pair of cute CMT's for halfway through and the end of the show. Artistic fashion genius is tiring. :)
