What if we both do it? Plumbers are too expensive when it could be done with combined resources that exist already.

It can't be that hard to fix. Or people wouldn't tell the dumb kids in school they'd grow up to be plumbers and mailmen. It has to be easy. I think we are just missing... actual tools. I will read about which ones we need after learning more to assess the causes of the leak. It could be many different things.

What would cause a leak in the first place. One would believe it would be cause by something breaking down.

Or a loose screw somewhere. It may be a deeper problem, with the plumbing of the entire bathroom. Does the toilet have problems as well?

Do you usually fix things with it? Duct tape is good for most problems, but this may be a corroded valve, which is apparently the most common cause for leaking faucets, and easily replaced.
