In order to satisfy a Doctor Who plot point for my upcoming haltius I feel the need to introduce a secondary character. This is the watcher. He is a faceless silent glowing man. He needs to be killed off. Perhaps someone can mistake him for a white heartless? First come first serve. I want him dead.

I do not see other comments here, but please tell me you discussed this with a mod first before going ahead and posting in the main community? Since character death isn't something we have had to discuss before, and all that. I personally am not adverse to it, I like writing character death- it's interesting... just make sure you have permission from all the mods before doing something you're unsure of (which you clearly were since you posted this).

I'm not adverse to it either. What I was adverse to is picking up characters for the sole reason of killing them off. HOWEVER on that note uh yeah I know it was discussed with D, but I was under a different impression about it I guess. I mean all I'm asking is if you want someone to come kill whatever off give us a little more to go off of. Humor us with a bit more detail maybe?

Doctor-mun discussed it with me and the general idea is that this Watcher thing should be killed and it would cause the Doctor to regenerate more slowly. So when the Watcher is killed then the Master can just pop in and you know, off him.

I'd also like to point out that white heartless look like mushrooms and tend to play games rather than fight, if memory serves.

the Watcher is a old plot device. he is a semi stable future regeneration sent back in time to make sure the doctor regenerates. if the watcher isent around the doctor wont regenerate as fast giving agetha time to stick him in the tardis. it fixes the problem of the master just waiting for him to regenerate then killing him again.

You're missing my point. If your goal is have that thing killed you need to give people more to go off than three mesley sentences. There is no motivation or anything for it.

I was trying to avoid posting my plans for killing the doctor all over the TTOOC. I see your point though. I'm sorry I didnt give him a plot but he really dosn't have one. there is no good reason for someone to kill him other than he looks strange or the killer likes killing people. thats why I phrased it the way I did. If you would rather, I could have him wander into Agathas lab and he can be killed by a rouge experiment.

We now have an [info]assassino in our midst if you'd like to employ him~ Ezio can tell someone's an enemy via use of his Eagle's Vision (hostiles appear as red, allies as blue, targets as gold)... unless you must have The Master kill him, I do not know your plans with Master-mun.

the watcher isn't a enemy. He is no threat to anyone. the master wouldn't kill a watcher because for all he knows the watcher is here to Observe him. so I need a third party to kindly do some unnecessary violence.

I guess the part I'm confused about is as follows; he needs to be killed, but seems to pose no threat. I'm confused as to why the Watcher needed to be brought in in the first place. oO;?

It's not a big deal, promise! I didn't want to make it seem like it wasn't allowed, I was just not following. D:! I hope I don't seem like a big mean mod or anything! ;;

I obsess about doctor who cannon all the time. Its my life. 26 seasons of the original series 4 separate book contracts 3 different comic book licencings, the new series the movie and 25 years of audio books. I could spend a life time and not experience all of it. I try my hardest to keep details in check when the writers themselves contradict them. I wanted to give a logical cannon reason for delayed regeneration, that's why I needed the watcher. their are other ways of achieving the same thing. he could be druged, or find a magical item but I chose the watcher because he feels less like a deus ex machina. he has precedent in the show.

See, you should have said this first when we asked up there. *points* I'm not as, uh, dedicated to Doctor Who as you. I started with nine and worked from there, and have no interest in watching the old series (I know, I'm such a bad fan) so... yeah... but I do have a wiki page open so I don't seem like a total moron.
