Taking a Dare
"Okay, fine I'll take the dare. What do I have to do now?" Dante asked Ben.

They were standing on top of building, a rather tall one, in civies. Ben in a red hoodie and jeans held onto a loose end of a web line. "Remember, you said you would. But seriously, it's fun! I know it's scary looking but best thing!" The web line was attached above them and they looked down on the space between this building and the next, where Ben had set up a web safety net at the bottom. "Web bungee jumping. So...you still up for it?"

Seemed an innocent enough dare. Except it was quite a few stories higher than even the average bungee jumping. Plus, webs vs. safety approved gear....

Hey, there was a net at the bottom in any case.

	Ben grinned. "There's like 20 stories there," he said but webbed the end of the web line to a rather sturdy belt he'd already webbed to Dante. Hey, dare or no he didn't want his friend going splat. 	Ben had been laughing and cheering the whole time. When it finally stopped and Dante was hanging from the end of the line, Ben shouted down to the other guy as he swung down to help him out of it. "Wasn't it awesome?!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ben laughed and stuck to the side of the building nearby. "You're lucky I'm not leaving you hanging here. I have done that to Rufus for prank revenge." He held out his hand. "Grab on, we're swinging back up." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Ben held onto Dante and swung back up, flipping along the way to give the ride extra twists and turns for the fun of it. "Best. Way. To. Get. Around." No question about it.

He let Dante down on the building's roof while he stood on the side of the building, looking like he was defying gravity. "Okay, next dare is swing from that building over there..." He pointed at a really tall building not too far in the distance. "To that roof over there." He then pointed at a shorter building a decent distance from the first. Not too hard a swing, totally could be done by an amateur, but it was a long swing. Which was all the more crazy exhilarating. That pendulum ride thing at the theme park had nothing on the spider version.

"Awesome," Ben grinned and without warning, grabbed Dante by the waist and had them swinging to the tall building in the distance. "Wooooo!"

He flipped, Dante in tow, onto the top of that building and let his friend down. "Okay, we'll just attach this to your belt like last time," he said as he shot a line of webbing from his wrist to a construction crane between the buildings. "Anything happens I'll swing in and catch you, no problemo."

	Ben cheered for Dante from the ledge of the first building and whooped before diving off the side of the building, shooting out a web line, and swinging after him. Of course he had to let go and flip a few times in the air before landing. "Nice one!" He raised his hand for a high five. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Yeah well...haven't had that experience so this will remain the best thing for me then." He grinned. "You're lucky I'm not in uniform! No pockets on that thing, once had to have the Spectre guy I was teaming up with buy me the post-patrol-celebration hot dog. Kinda embarrassing. Need to get zipper pockets somewhere on it." 	Ben swan dived off the building right after him, whooping as he went and landing with quite the bounce on the net. He laughed as it stabilized. "Let's climb down to the alley, should be a burger place a few streets down. Careful about leftover webbing on your clothes," he said as he proceeded to unstick himself.
