Flashback: Two Years Ago
Beatrice's realizations were really coming through for her, but she was also putting years of training to the test as she made her way over, stepping just there and pausing just so.

Soon, she was behind the other girl. She waited and let the realization come, the shot she had to take just perfectly.

Normally, Kelly isn't easy to sneak up on. Right now, she's barely able to hear anything for the sound of machinegun fire echoing in her ears. And a little out of sorts, because she currently contains half her body weight in lead, thanks to the goons she's been dispatching, making the job somewhat easier.

More to the point, Weapon X mostly uses her as a sniper, and doesn't let her have this much /fun/. So she's not paying a ton of attention directly behind her, thinking she had accounted for everyone - other than Bea's intuition telling her just when to duck into the ladies room during Kelly's recon.

	And so, all these circumstances fallen perfectly into place, Bea puts a 9 mm bullet through the girl's head at just the right angle. She then immediately scrambles over and quickly ties her up, gets her into a fireman's hold, and gets out of Dodge. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

When Kelly wakes up, she feels funny. Something has changed, and she's not quite certain what it is.

Oh, there it is! She's tied up. Huh... that's interesting.
Oh, and she's over someone's back... someone reasonably strong and fit.
She opens her eyes a touch... a female someone.
A female someone with an ASP tucked into the back of her BDUs.

Kelly pops her wrist out of joint when the hit a jolt. The sting helps wake her up, and shifts angles enough for her to work herself out of the knots. She reaches for the ASP, intending to shoot whoever this is in the base of the spine for their interruption of her mission.

That's when a series of thoughts occur to her.
1. She does not give a fuck about the mission. Much to her surprise. All that programmed loyalty seems to be gone... and isn't coming back due to the bullet lodged in her brain just so.
2. Nice ASP... Nice Ass.
3. Wait, this chick carries a heavy pistol, is into bondage (but needs practice), is strong enough to haul her out of a military institution, and did not hesitate to shoot her in the head.
4. #3 is really hot.
5. I should just see where this goes, due to #'s 3 and 4.

She quietly slips herself back into the ropes without raising a fuss... all that awareness hinting maybe the hostage is waking up, but not the rest... seeing as how Bea's choice of firearms and her backside meant she wasn't in any danger... then Kelly just rides it out to see what comes of this, feigning near unconsciousness.

Kelly blinks. "Wait, so you're saying you're actually my sister? Now I really feel gypped. All those missed slumber parties we should have h... wait... now that you mention it, no. I do feel like there's a bullet lodged in my brain. Somewhere near Laverne, I think... but otherwise, feeling pretty free and clear... well, aside from the ropes. Those do not enhance feelings of freedom."

She shrugs. "Ok, so yes, I probably would have shot you. And Laverne is one of the tumors. Laverne, Shirley and Lumpy."

Then she blinks, pushing herself to sit upright despite the bonds. "Wait, you know my Mom? She does know she owes me a ton of back birthdays... and Christmases... or is it Hannukah? Are we Jewish?"

"Yeah, actually. So you're from out that way... ok, I can get behind this. they still owe me a lot of back birthdays and whatever winter holiday they celebrates. I'm expecting a machinegun at this point."

"We'll see what kind of artillery Mom gets you eventually, but in the meantime, like I said, can't take you home. ... Not until Uncle Laz is a bit older, at least, especially since you might hit on him. But I'm not leaving you alone to have Weapon X come after you by yourself or for you to do god-knows-what. So how about you come with me, we'll go see my equipment broker in L.A., and then go use said equipment on somebody who's got it coming and get paid large sums of money for it. You get to keep your half."

She loves her explosives, but she was primarily used as a sniper, and codenamed Crosshairs, for a reason. Besides, now she's working for pay. "Yep," Bea says as she starts untying knots.
"In which case, we'll just have to shoot people for free." A sigh. "Here's hoping they don't find us when we happen to be in New York. I like to avoid killing anyone in New York. Fewer glares from my Aunt Rachel if she comes across it. Strong Heroic Principles, has Aunt Rachel, plus, with such a huge Heroic community, New York kind of has its own rules."
