Piecing things together
The kitsune gave a low growl at the being it was trying to evade. The creature would not stop her from what she was going to accomplish. She had waited long enough for this to happen. She refused to wait any longer than she had to. Even immortals could grow weary after all.
It looked like she might have to fight her way through this place just a bit. The land here was out of balance and it made things difficult. She knew that would get fixed soon enough.
Just a few more days and she'd be able to deliver this message at least. Then everything would go the way it should.
