location:  Star City
disaster:  None
time:  9:21:34 PM

Calypso walked the streets of Star City under the light of the moon and the stars.  Just as the night was calm, so was she.  It had been a long time since she had been able to put Terra to rest and bring Calypso into the picture.  As she saw it- she had two personalities.  She had the Hero and the Maiden, trapped in one body.  Terra, the Hero.  Calypso, the not-so-helpless Maiden.

In an alleyway not to far from where Calypso is walking, Lian Harper is currently kicking the crap out of two guys that were stupid enough to try and mug her.

Or at least, in the process of kicking the crap out of two guys.

"Didn't your mother tell you that trying to steal a girl's purse is wrong?" She said, as she sent a right towards one thug, and trying to duck out of the way of the other who was trying to grab her.

Calypso caught the sound of a beating being handed out in a nearby alleyway. And then she hears Lian teasing her attackers. And in that moment, Calypso was Terra once again. She walked into the alleyway and lifted on hand high into the air. In perfect sync, the ground beneath the man traying to grab Lian from behind rose up quickly, sending him into the air. His momentum carried him over Lian and the other thug, and he handed hard on his back.

She didn't say anything, though. Terra wasn't the talkative type when she wasn't in Strata.

Lian turned when she heard the ground rise up, and saw Terra standing behind her.

"Huh," she stared at the two thugs, currently knocked out in front of her. "Nice trick."

"Thank you," she replied. Terra looked at the two thugs on the ground, and then back at Lian. "I'm Terra." She held out a hand.

Lian bit her lip. Just because someone said that their name was Terra, didn't mean that they were a crazy nutcase, like the one that tried to kill the Teen Titans back when her father was on it. "Lian Harper," she said, taking her hand. "Nice to meet you, Terra."

They shook hands, and then Terra took back her hand. "Nice to meet you as well, Lian."

"So...Terra..you new to Star City?" She'd certainly hadn't seen her before, and she was pretty familiar with most of the superheroes in the city. Partially because she was related to the majority of him.

"I am, yes," she admitted, "I'm from... somewhere far away."

Lian rattled her brain. Where had the last Terra been from? Could it be possible that they were from the same country? Maybe this Terra was related to one of the previous Terras, somehow.

"Markovia?"

"No, I'm not from Markovia." But she had origins in Markovia. She just didn't want people knowing her lineage.

"Ah. Thought I'd ask. A couple of the other Terras were from there. I forget where the last one was from."

"I'm not familiar with the 'other Terras'," she said. It was a lie, but she was good at hiding it. "I just think Terra suits my abilities."

"There have been three other heroines that have used Terra," Lian said, "Well, one of them wasn't exactly a heroine, but I won't get into that."

She knew about Tara Markov. She also knew that the Teen Titans treated her as a hero after her death, regardless of her actions in life. But this Terra was going to get into that. "I see," she said, "I am a heroine, so there are no worries on that around here. I travel all over the world to help people."

"I'm not saying that you're like her at all. Just because you have the same name as someone or even a connection, to someone that used their abilities for evil, it doesn't mean you're like them exactly." She sighed. "I would know."

Lian bit her lip. She might have said a bit too much there. Damnit. She was normally much more careful than that.

"Yeah," she said, "Yeah, I am."

"So that's why you weren't having trouble with those men." She looked at the men that were still on the ground, knocked out. "I won't ask you to tell me your hero identity, so don't worry. I won't tell anybody that you're a heroine."

"Thanks." Lian nodded. "Ya know..." She pulled out a small piece of paper and a pen. There's something about this Terra. In her gut, Lian seemed to know that she could trust her. And Lian had never been one to doubt what her gut was telling her.She scribbled down her phone number, her address...and her comm frequency and her identity. "Here. If you need someone to call if you're in a bind."

"Thanks," Terra replied while accepting the paper. "I don't have a communicator or a phone, though. Although I could get them easily." If she pulled some strings.

"Thanks, again. I'll be sure to contact you if I need anything, Lian. Oh, and my real name is Calypso." Calypso "Markov". She turned around and walked out of the alleyway. "I'll see you around!"
