bendytimed to the night after Cheshire fled Gotham

Lian, J'anna, and Calypso were at Queen Industries on stakeout. Or rather, on the rooftop across from Queen Industries, that is. Lian pulled out her night-vision goggles, as they waited for Red Robin to meet up with them. Lian had alerted him earlier on the comms that they were going on stakeout tonight.

She'd gotten in some more information about who they were looking for. From what she could gather, they were based from out of Gotham City, or somewhere near that area. Also, from what she'd picked up, they had added someone else to their roster. Someone who's methods were more...lethal than the rest of the group's. Lian had a sinking feeling of it could possibly be, but that was a big, fat, if. After all...she was dead, right?

"He should be here soon," Lian said, her eyes still focused on the building's windows as she looked for any unusual activity. "Keep an eye out. Then, we'll take it from there."

"He's here now." Red Robin says. Again, one moment he is not there, the next moment, he is.

"What's the situation inside?" he asks, walking toward Jade Arrow and pulling out his own binoculars to look across the way.

"I've got my suspicions on who's in there, but I need visual confirmation before I take further action. If it's who I think it is, we're in for a long night." he says.

"You are very good at sneaking up on people and things." J'anna meant this as a compliment and not a statement of the obvious. Half Martian and having been raised by Hawks, sometimes her small talk and social graces were...off.

Her eyes and her mind continually watched everything in front of her. Lian had the goggles, though. She could see more than J'anna could read right about now.

	Cheshire snuck into the building with ease. She had a lot to make for after the slip-up in Gotham...as she had both Oliver Queen and his director's board to assinate AND now the tech to steal, as the group that had been hired by the client bailed on her. 	J'anna blinked. This was unexpected, both the reveal of who they were hunting and Lian's reaction. J'anna moved towards Cheshire. If she had to, she'd deal with the situation so Lian didn't have to. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"This is no time to be shocked, Jade Arrow." Calypso condensed rocks she had taken from outside into pebbles and fired them at Cheshire. "We are here to stop this woman."

But Calypso herself couldn't help but be shocked.

	Damnit. She was outnumbered, and even though she was on a job, Cheshire couldn't attack her own daughter. She had no choice. She threw a smoke bomb. When the smoke cleared, she was gone. (Reply to this)(Parent)
