The entire wizarding world thinks you're dead, Ralph, it's not easy to explain how a person disappears off the face of the earth, gains a new identity, and manages to enroll into a muggle university by himself. There would be so many questions that had to be answered! And then there's Macnair, we have no idea what he is capable of and no evidence outside of your account which I know should be valid enough but it wouldn't hold up in court and---

So! I could say anything as an excuse? It's not completely strange! Someone attacked me, my house, so I tried to lay low and lived as a muggle for a while! And since I am muggleborn it's not completely strange, or some crap like that anything the Ministry would eat up.

Macnair is a psychopath, everyone knows it, isn't that more than enough to---
