Owl Post!

Dear Penelope,

I just wanted to thank you again for your kind hospitality last week. I had planned to write sooner but I didn't receive the best of news, well I suppose it could be considered good news. Perspective changes everything. There is apparently evidence suggesting that my wife wasn't taken after all, just made to look that way so she could take the opportunity to run off. It certainly is a lot to process.

I'm rambling again, I apologize. To the point, then. I found this while packing up my things, and thought you might enjoy it. Some thoughts aren't meant to be written in magical journals. Please don't think to much of it, just a mere token of my appreciation. Hope you are having a better week than I.

Sincerely,
Tripp

Dear Tripp,

Thank you for the journal. It's a lovely thought. I insist that you don't apologize; if speaking with me helped you even a little, I consider it a good deed done for a—friend, and certainly at no inconvenience. I am sorry to hear what an unfortunate turn of events it took, however. I can only say that if she failed to recognize your worth, perhaps one day (I hope soon) you will realize it's now better to be apart than together. Changing perspectives, as you said.

Please remember my offer, as it still stands. I am a recent believer of "tomorrow is a new day" with the potential to be better… I hope you see things this way, too.

Be well,
Penelope
