I trust that my dear family has purchased Witch Weekly for my classier most recent shoot.

Darren, are you too tied down by your little girlfriend to go to dinner?

Is that an invitation?

More or less.

Then I'll accept. More or less. The decision will depend on my schedule.

Certainly, darling.

Ooh, I nearly forgot about that. I think that might do enough to distract me. Pollux is still ill--and getting worse. I had to cancel two shoots already because I don't want to leave. I've also been told six times by interns that visiting hours are over before having to explain that he's my bloody husband

Are you really all that fond of him?

I know it's not nearly as fun for you to see him die of natural causes, but you cannot let your career suffer over that bag of bones.

No. Maybe. I don't know how fond of him I actually am. I think I'm more fond of not having to search for a new suitor, even if that means keeping him around. And he's probably the most decent out of the six--not a lot of demands from me...more grandfather-like than husband-like.

You're right, I know. I'll have to get back in the swing of things starting Monday. To be fair, though, there would probably be more suspicion if I didn't act like a distraught, heart broken wife should.

Please, you're a model. Nobody is supposed to know how we feel on the inside, darling.

Professional face.

At least if he dies this way you really can't be faulted. It can't hurt to have a genuine natural death in the mix of your more questionable ones.

Of course not, but there's always someone trying to stick their nose in our business and then analyzing everything they see.

Who says that poor Magnus didn't come across that flesh eating parasite all on his own? He was always too reckless for his own good, you know.

In all fairness, Pollux recovered from a stomach virus while we were in Spain. He wasn't supposed to last this long as it is.

Whatever you say, darling.
