I feel that the local TV shows are getting more stupid every day.

I'm watching Weeds these days and it's just so much fun to watch. It isn't like one of those series where every episode has an expected problem or issue that they have to deal with before the show ends (e.g. Charmed). One of the problems with this is to understand the story in the later seasons, you have to go back to Season 1 and watch every single episode to appreciate current episode. Well that's what I think.

Lately I find myself happier than usual and I wonder if it's a good thing. I always thought that when you're happy, there's no other way to go but down after. But about about happier? That was never an option for me. Especially living here in Manila where more than half of the people are below the poverty line. It's almost like a sin to be living the way I do without working.

I wonder what I'll have for dinner tonight. I am not strict today on my diet, this is a treat for myself for working out harder than expected and sticking to the diet the past few days. But that doesn't mean I'm eating like there's tomorrow. I'm just not counting calories today. Breakfast, I had that round bread with eggs, sausage and cheese (450 calories if I had to count) plus non-fat latte. Lunch I had salad greens with vinaigrette and 3 meatballs. For afternoon snack, I had a bowl of cheerios with non fat milk. I haven't had dinner yet.

I'm excited with American Idol. This week's episode is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Wanna bet James Durbin will be screaming again? He's cute and all that but I can't help but think he's the inferior version of Adam Lambert as far as his singing goes. He screams ala Adam and Steven Tyler but his voice gets really thin when he does that. I don't really see Stefano Langone as a great singer, at all. He may be cute but that's it. I love Paul McDonald but I don't really see him winning, just because his type of singing/songs isn't that mainstream-y. It's like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, it flopped but it gained cult-like following even until today. I wish he'd get to at least the top 3.
