Thomas and Sarah- Meme- Angst- Seperation (AU)
She'd been gone for months without a word and with no way to trace her. Just vanished into thin air. Had it been anyone else he'd be mad that they could even pull that off without him finding them. But with her...well he'd admit he was more hurt than anything. If she was going to up and leave he'd expected...well at least a goodbye, or some note or something. Not just an empty place and no leads to follow.

Which is why she's the last person he expects to see when he drops by a supermarket in one of the smaller neighbourhoods on his way home. There's an initial moment of shock and then it hits him what she's buying and her...condition. He probably scares a few of the other customers by the way he stands there, eyebrow twitching in anger, and glaring daggers at the young woman innocently making her purchases.

He never makes it home. Instead he follows her, recklessly still in his civilian ID, as far as he can without alerting her to his presence to where she's staying. Still blinded by anger, he doesn't wait till it's completely dark and changes to Robin gear to sneak into her living room ahead of her.

A tall shadow looms behind Sarah's couch, eyebrow still twitching, as she enters.

The bags are piled high. She has to restock everything and she's still tired from the trip back here. She has been barely able to keep most things down while traveling and she's looking forward to putting her feet up.

She puts some of the bags down at her feet and is locking up when she detects someone is in her place. She turns around slowly and then really tenses up.

This isn't good at all.

She doesn't like doing this in the dark. She turns on a few lights as she moves less than gracefully to the couch and sinks down careful. The way her back and hip feel she won't be moving for a while.

"I.... wasn't thinking straight at the time. I had lost that painting that my Boss had wanted me to recover from his rival, I was already unnerved. The hit and all of that on top of everything that went on that week..... I took the easy way out, I guess."

	Oh. About the baby. She looks away. "I was't sure what I was going to do.... and then I didn't want you coming after us. You're needed in Gotham. Not where I was." Quite frankly he doesn't see why she shouldn't tell him. He wasn't going to make her do something she didn't want to and he only had her safety in mind.

"That's why you didn't tell me?! Because you didn't want me involved is that it? Because it's not like I had a right to know now is it?" Now the sarcasm comes out, not a good sign. Especially since now he's actually shouting.

"I didn't think it was safe for you! I didn't want to see you hurt!" She's just a pitch softer than him when she gets mad.

Stupid man. And oh God her stomach is rolling again.

She gets up as carefully and as quickly as she can manage because she knows she needs to get to the bathroom. Morning sickness at any hour of the day just really isn't fair. She doesn't want to get sick in front of him so she shuts the door.

"Safe for ME?!" That comes out as almost a roar. So much for staying composed. He takes a deep breath before continuing. "I can handle myself just fine. I've been hurt before regardless of you. That doesn't excuse not telling me!"

For a moment he thinks she's running from him and it's only when he hears the sounds through the bathroom door that he realizes that's not the case.

He glares daggers at the doorknob, even though he could easily pick it, or if he really lost it or needed to, break it down.

	She pulls a face after she's done with that round off not feeling well. Then rinses her mouth out and pulls another face. She wasn't up for arguing. She was still very tired. 	She writes them down even though she won't forget them. She just doesn't want to risk it. Sarah has trouble with that too but after being pregnant for several months she has an easier time picturing things.
