WHO: adamina
WHERE: hospital
WHEN: afternoon

"You have to do what!" Adamina cried out, looking at the healer as if he had twenty different heads, all telling her she was in risk of pre-term labor and needed to be kept over night. Her nostrils were flared, her skin was red and she was really really pissed off. "I'm not staying, you can't make me!" The healer was trying to console her like she was a child, but in all fairness, she was definitely acting like one.

"If you don't calm down, you'll make this minor problem even worse," the healer said, sitting down on the edge of her bed, head tilted slightly as he searched her face for something. "Does Tim know?" It was like he knew Adamina would hide this from her own husband. Eyes bore into her as he tried to get an answer out of her. Out of everyone that would hide something this big from their husband, it would be Adamina and even the family healer knew that much.

Mina looked at him and sighed, then looked down at her blanket as she shifted in her bed. No, she hadn't told Tim, but she also didn't know what was going on until now. "I'll tell him," she said in a mousey voice, knowing that there would be no way she would be leaving St. Mungos before Tim got home from work. "I'll owl him in a little while. Do I really need to stay over night? I thought you said resting will stop all of this?" Perhaps begging would help ease her mind and force him into letting her go before her husband got home from work. Plus, Nick was waiting right outside the room, probably pacing back and forth. She huffed and leaned back into the pillows.

"Admit me, go tell my brother and send in a quill and some parchment so I can send a letter to my husband." Mina looked up, watching as the healer obliged to go do what she asked him to do. She didn't care if her questions were answered. This was probably more serious than she had made it out to be. For once, she was actually glad she was in a hospital.
