Sebastian!
Hmm. Mackenzie was most definitely enjoying herself.
And not because she was drunk, or feeling crazy or anything of that sort which would make her feel different from usual! Merlin, no, no. But because the whole atmosphere of this place was infecting. Everyone was so
happy, she hadn't seen a group as large as this one so happy all year, and it made her happy to see so many other people enjoying themselves without having to worry about work or waking up early for
this or sending an important letter for that. It was only appropriate that their entire year was here, or else it just wouldn't be the same.
Actually, speaking about that,
Mackenzie still wasn't quite sure how she had convinced her mother into letting her come to this party (leaving out the fact that it was a
party and not a small intimate pureblood gathering like she had implied helped), but completely glad it had all worked out. Sixth year had been wonderful, so what better way to end it with a good celebration?
Now if only she could find who she was looking for....
"Sebastian!" Mackenzie spoke warmly to him, a full close-mouthed (she didn't particularly like the way she looked when she smiled with her teeth) smile appearing on her face. They hadn't seen each other on the train ride home, and, to be frank, she had wanted to. But one thing had led to another, and it certainly wasn't like they had many mutual friends to share a compartment with, so. So, it was only appropriate to remedy this issue now. Definitely having nothing to do with the fact that the thought of having to go the whole summer without seeing him made her extremely anxious.
