She wouldn't say she was ignoring their loss to the Kestrels, but more of... choosing to not think about it. What else could you really do to help ease the sting of yet another added failure to the pile the Catapults had created with their abysmal losing streak? This season had been horrible, and it was to say the least that Rose was looking forward to the relief that came with an off week. Maybe it could help rejuvenate some morale, help make a fresh start. That was actually possible, and maybe with a last-ditch trade before the deadline this weekend, it was entirely conceivable that they could come back for the second half of the season.

Rose immediately slammed her locker shut, feeling guilty for entertaining such a brutal thought; she wasn't exactly supposed to want for one of her teammates to get traded, was she? But, it was entirely too easy to, knowing that the main reason for the team's perpetual losing had a bit to do with a lack of snitch-catching action.

But there was nothing that could be done about it now. All she could do was head home and prepare for the remaining week's practices, perhaps paint another room in her house, or---

A loud crash interrupted Rose's thoughts, and with a preserving curiosity, she popped her head to catch what had created the noise. Her brow furrowed slightly as she squinted her eyes. She would have sworn she had been the only one in here, having taken the time after practice to organize her belongings in her locker, which had become quite messy.

Another crash, though this one a bit less violent, pulled Rose forward. Walking toward where she thought the noise had originated, with wand in hand, she moved slowly in case... well... she supposed they hadn't had any strange break-ins by unwanted guests, but Rose had heard of it happening at other stadiums, so it would be not smart to approach a situation unarmed. Almost slipping by the captain's office, something caught her eye that made her arm drop and her back straighten like a board.

"What are you doing?" Rose demanded of the poorly hidden Charlie Spinnet. She peered through the doorway, unwilling to get much closer than she already was. Why was Charlie Spinnet in Caerphilly?

Open to Guests! Posted for Friday
Charlie was bent low as about a dozen tiny hands grabbed, pinched, clambered, and tugged all about him. The moment his niece had begged for a piggy back, a line of ready and willing riders assembled at his table. It was a good thing that Penelope's party was taking place in a park with a nice, grassy area to play about, because his knees would've not only been stained green, but bruised from a hardwood floor.

"Okay, okay," he let out with a breath of exhaustion, standing to his full height (he had to grab hold of Terry Boot's tightly clenched hands as he raised him a foot off the ground). "I need a break. And a drink. Go chase the dog!"

At the sound of DOG, the gaggle of children rushed after Pascal, who had been sitting beside Charlie's older brother as he not so discreetly fed him off the table. Charlie left his jacket folded over the back of the chair on the children's table and made his way over to Penny, loosening his tie. He'd really wanted to look spiffy for this night, but maybe keeping her off her guard, like he wasn't planning on asking her the most important question he'd ever ask anyone, would make this night easier.

"I managed a good half an hour before getting dirty," he said, putting his hands out to take hold of hers, "Are you proud?"

Charlie!
After completely breaking her promise to Charlie that she wouldn't tell anyone and having a some what calming chat with Nora, Delilah felt a little bit more ready to face her twin. Not that she couldn't before, but this sort of news, well it took a while to process. Not to mention the fact that it was the last thing she had ever expected Charlie to say. The promise of drinks with Nora afterwards helped ease the shock of being completely blindsided.

She fidgeted outside Charlie's door waiting for him to respond to her knock. It had almost been a hour since she had told him that she was on her way over and considering the fact that shouldn't even take her a quarter of that time, there was a good chance that she only added to what ever sort of panic her brother was most likely in. Well she assumed he was in a panic. Proposing was a big deal, and neither of them handled decisions of such enormity well, let alone with any grace. If Charlie was calm about this, then Delilah would-- well she honsetly wouldn't know what to do with that.

"Charlieee," she called through the door, opting for whinging than actually thinking about what she would say once he did let her in. "I can't be late if I never said when I'd be here. Please stop making stand outside. It is hooot."

Hogsmeade Quidditch Weekend! Open to All!
Charlie was literally bouncing around like a school kid. How was he so keen on the ways of excited, shriek-filled Hogwarts students? Why, he was surrounded by a gaggle of them! Bouncing, the lot of them, and all donned in red and gold! It was a beautiful sight, really, and it made the slightly overcast day seem bright and sunny and warm. He wanted to hug each and every one of those kids, so he did and it was a good feeling to be recognized as some 'Gryffindor Hero!' A Gryffindor Hero! Legend, some were saying. Some teeny, tiny voice in the back of Charlie's head knew that legend, even hero was pushing it a bit far, but he would happily accept the compliments because they made him feel damn special.

He hadn't been much of a standout in school, popular enough not to lurk around the corridors without anyone noticing you were there, but he was no quidditch captain or head boy. He was just Charlie, and even if his quidditch fame and popularity had skyrocketed these past few years, he was still very much in awe of the fact that people could be impressed by him.

"All right, all right!" he laughed, prying off the clamped fingers of a young third year girl's off his arm. "I'll be back, I promise!"

There was a chorus of moans, but soon the group had spotted yet another player to lay their tremendous excitement and focus on, and Charlie was free. He bounded down the pavement, Gryffindor scarf proudly flapping in the wind behind him, and dropped down onto a wooden bench beside his very Hufflepuff-y girlfriend.

"The kids," he said, waving his hand out toward the crowd before dropping it down onto the back of the bench behind Penelope, "They dig me."

Axe!
Charlie bit back his groan as he watched the extra set of weights magically slide onto his bar. He'd already reached his usual limit, but with the playoffs fast approaching, it was no surprise that his captain was pushing him harder. The training area was empty besides the two of them, for now, and Charlie liked it that way. His other teammates always managed to distract him; at least with Axe he knew he could get seriously clobbered if he lost track of his regiment. As Axe spotted him, because what good was lifting weights when you knew they couldn't crush your chest because of spells, Charlie huffed, face turning red with exertion.

His eyes shut tightly as he lifted the bar off of its ledge and sucked in a deep breath.

"You're---going---to---" he pushed his arms forward, using all of his strength to raise the bar once more, "--kill----me!"

Somehow, he'd managed to lift the bar back up and before another weight could slide onto either end Charlie sat up and pushed himself to the end of the bench. Taking deep breaths, he grabbed for the nearest towel to wipe the sweat off his face. He looked over his shoulder at Axe with winded grin, "Are you looking to break both my arms?
