Grabbing his own box of food, he reached behind him a grabbed a couple of forks, sliding one across the table to his friend. He would have used chopsticks, but he felt like stabbing at something, and you couldn’t really pull that off with a very thin piece of wood. Something metallic and pointy was needed for this process, and a fork was the correct instrument for the situation. So, spearing a piece of orange chicken, he took a bite, chewing it while he waited for Oz to say something. For him to say anything that could give him an idea of what the hell had happened to him.
What he did say, however, caused Jones to raise his brows. His chewing got slower, and with a sigh, he began to prod at the cold poultry. “Yeah, well…I kind of figured that one out, since you were wearing a hospital gown and no pants.” Raising his eyes to meet his own, he gave a shrug. “Not that you having no pants on is a rare occurrence or anything, but the gown kind of gave you away.” Alright, he was trying to keep the mood light, because maybe that was how Waldo would get to talking. If he ordered him to speak like a dog, he’d clam up, and nothing would get accomplished. “So, you have no idea what happened to you? You just…woke up in a hospital, a muggle hospital no less, seeing how you weren’t wearing lime green, and you don’t remember a thing?”
