Theo had brought her fruit? That was nice! Cordie sniffled some more and took the plate but set it in front of her and tugged Theo down into the chair next to her. "Thank you love," she said, rubbing his knee and smiling thoughtfully. "My feet hurt though and my back and he's been kicking really hard and I think he doesn't appreciate the music." Yes, she was whinging but she was nearly thirty weeks pregnant and to Cordie, that was a good enough excuse for whinging.
She took a strawberry and started nibbling on it, "Have you seen how pretty everyone is tonight? Will is so handsome and then there's Anneliese who is just so gorgeous and Erin and Deidra, sooooo pretty. Theo this is such a great evening," Cordie started sniffling again and reached for her handkerchief, "I don't know why I'm crying when it's so pretty!"
