Caradoc watched Emmeline carefully for a long moment, his eyes locked on her face the entire while. He was sometimes able to tell when she was lying or not (really just when she was caught off guard), but this was not one of those instances. And he most certainly didn't believe that she just knew nothing, because whatever the hell was going on, Juliet would have told everyone but him just to make it that much more amusing for her.
"Either you do or you don't," he demanded quickly with a rush of air. Caradoc took another breath, and let go of Emmeline's elbow once he noticed he had begun to hold onto it tighter than before. While shaking his head, he realized that acting this way was probably only fueling Juliet even more. He shouldn't--- why was this bothering him so much-- but. He had to know. Something-- anything. He really shouldn't be caring this much.
"Emmeline," Caradoc started again, his eyebrows going high on his face now. "She didn't say anything to you?" he repeated, trying his best to seem at least a little controlled. Afterall, it was only a matter of time before Emmeline completely blew up at him. Which would just cause more problems then he wanted to deal with, honestly.
