Her brow furrowed in---not confusion, though maybe it was a little; why on earth was he even interested in...well, no, she could sort of understand why Caradoc would want to be involved in his sister's life to this rather creepy level, because the Dearborns lived to annoy each other, but this was just--strange. She'd hoped she would know if one of her best friends had gotten married, and she had seen the ring on Juliet's necklace but--that could mean anything.
"I...don't think so?" she said slowly, looking out to see if she could spot Juliet, to make eye contact and further prove that her brother was being ridiculous once again. Juliet and Rhys were acting rather cozy earlier; maybe the ring meant they'd gotten engaged. She could understand wanting to keep that to themselves for a while, until Emmeline began to think it was Juliet and Rhys, and the idea of them being sentimental simply did not work.
Maybe she just made him buy her a diamond ring. That sounded more realistic.
