Everyone!
Anneliese Jugson.

Even after she had time to officially get use to her new name, it still made her skin tingle. Anneliese Jugson, Anneliese Jugson--- she was finally married now. There was nothing else in the world that she could possibly focus on, or even think about, beside that this was her perfect wedding and she was now, officially, married to the most wonderful man in the world. Nothing could possibly even begin to bother her, because everything was perfect. Everything from the cake all the way down to their little green favors-- she wouldn't have changed one thing. Their guests were allowed to bring home everything, placeholders, centerpieces-- anything. Of course, that was to happen after she had stated it was alright to do so, and had one of her own to keep, but even then if they went home with nothing it wouldn't bother her that much.

Anneliese sighed happily as she sat, almost in a daze. Her dress still fit beautifully, and now she finally understood why brides were so adamant about no one else wearing white to a wedding; she felt nearly divine at this point.

Oh, she really did love weddings.

No, she really did love her wedding.

And Will, she loved him too.

Blinking herself out of her own haze, Anneliese slowly turned her head to face Will. "I love you," she cooed lowly, fingers reaching to lace with his. She really, honestly did. Anyone that could put up with her hysterical self like he did just days before the wedding most definitely deserved that, at the very least. Anneliese leaned forward to gently press her lips onto his for a few seconds before pulling back to smile.

[OOC] Just so everyone can start a bit earlier! Still meant to occur Saturday night :]

Juliana frowned into her glass of champagne as she leaned back into a chair, the singular occupied around her assigned table. The chair to her left, formerly housing her sorry excuse for a husband, had been vacant now for a half hour in the least---citing some excuse she hadn't cared enough to listen to, Orpheus had taken his leave of the wedding a while back. It was a welcome absence for Juliana, although it would be a lie to say that she hadn't been enjoying the way that he had been so struggling with being visibly pleasant to her.

After Thursday night, the Travers' hadn't spoken, much less been civil towards one another, and none of the anger that either felt after their argument had subsided. In fact, Juliana was certain that the anger would only get worse---that was, once her husband found out just how many important people she'd shared the details of their fight with. By then, however, he wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it.

That thought warmed her in a wicked way, and her lips upturned for a split second as she took a long drink of the alcohol in her glass. Still, though, now that the target of her torment was gone, it had become rather dull around there.

Christopher was feeling just as dulled as his cousin was. There was really no one of interest to him seated at his own table, so it had only been a matter of time before he got up to look for someone who could begin to hold his interest. Luckily for him, and with a small smile, he recongized a very familiar head of blond hair within a few seconds of getting up.

"Jules," Christopher said in a warm tone as he smoothly slid into the empty chair on her left. Admittedly, he hadn't been keeping in good touch with any of his family memebers (except for Mackenzie's husband; he was always able to find time for one eye on Goldstein) as of lately, but now would be a good time to start.

His eyes wandered for a second, looking for anyone she could have come with. Though, it seemed like Travers had skipped out; how unfortunate. "Here by yourself?" he asked casually, head tipping with seeming interest.

Juliana looked up, a smile slipping onto her face at the sight and voice of her long-lost cousin. Or well, maybe that was a tad dramatic--but with as little as she'd seen of Christopher recently, long-lost was certainly what he felt like. After all, she had always gotten along well with the man, and in a family like hers, anyone whom you could get along with for more than five minutes at a time was a blessing, and one to be missed when they lost contact with their kin.

She set down her champagne glass and reached out to take his hand, giving it a squeeze in 'hello.' "It's lovely to see you, darling," she told him. As Juliana's eyes scanned her cousin's face, it was evident to her that he was just as bored by this function as she was. Good. With agreeable and like-minded company, maybe the night could be salvaged after all.

As Christopher mentioned the absence of her husband, Juliana made a show of grimacing to the thought. Society could never be reminded enough of how she hated Orpheus Travers. "Ah yes, as you can see, The Boy has run off," Juliana said. She let go of his hand to wave it in the air, gesturing towards the door. "He's doing... whatever; I can't be bothered to give a shit."

"Mmmm," he hummed, nodding slightly in agreement. Yes, of course he knew about Juliana's unfortunate marriage to Travers; nearly everyone did. And, being her family already only let him talk about the topic as freely as he wanted to. Or, just talk about the man because Christopher couldn't stand him to begin with simply because he made his cousin so unlike herself. She was much obviously better off without him.

"Understandably, no one really does when it comes to him." Christopher shrugged nonchalantly, though found the topic interesting at the least. He shifted back in his chair, setting his drink down in front of them on the table. But then, he leaned forward closer to her to speak in a softer tone.

"Jules," Christopher continued suddenly, but easily as if talking about the weather. "If anything comes up where I can help in anyway... concerning your-- husband, you know I will always help." To reinforce the fact, Christopher reached over to gently squeeze her hand as she did his before. And really, he meant anything.

Better off without him---that was one thing that Juliana could agree with anyone on. Even before Thursday evening, it had been obvious that Orpheus and Juliana were no match made in heaven. The Boy was too young, too stupid; and certainly did not have what it took to keep up with his wife. He was somehow oblivious to what marrying a Wilkes woman meant, and the kind of things that union came with; for one, the rule that you let them do whatever they wanted. The idea of just how stupid it had been, hitting her, brought another smile to Juliana's face. She absolutely could not wait until her brothers got a hold of the sorry bastard.

Juliana was taken off guard as Christopher suddenly lowered his voice, but tuned in again quickly to the matter at hand. She squeezed his hand back and smiled, then sighed and shook her head. "Oh, darling," she told him, her tone managing to be more wicked and devious than usual. "I'm afraid that I couldn't ask you to do the sort of things that I need to get through this marriage."

Christopher leaned back, sitting almost correctly in his chair again. No, he was fairly certain that he could help more than she believed. In various different ways. Most definitely in one more currently than others. He eased back into the chair, letting his shoulders drop slightly to relax.

"No need to ask," he started, reaching for his drink to finish off the last of it before speaking again. Once he finished, Christopher turned to Juliana to look straight at her as he spoke. "I am offering."

It was straight forward enough to be construed any way she wanted to. If at the least, there was nothing wrong with always being a part of the family that cared about her well being and her happiness. He at least owed her that after going in and out of touch so many times.

Juliana arched her brow at her cousin, turning to look at him rather suddenly with her full attention. Her eyes searched his face, trying to gauge whether he was insinuating what she thought he was insinuating, and if he was actually serious or not. This was her cousin, after all, and that made her hesitant--he could very possibly not realize how he sounded.

But no, she thought instantly. The way that Christopher looked straight at her, the way that he spoke... he had to be serious, he had to be thinking the same thing.

Well damn, she didn't give her cousin half as much credit as he deserved, did she?

The side of her lips twitched upwards just slightly, still a bit uncertainly. To play it safe, she had probably better test the waters first. "Are you offering right here, right now?" she asked. "I could use a little distraction from this riveting affair."

A polite smile broke out on his face. Ah, she did understand now; how annoying would that be to have to spell this out for her. Not that he expected he had to, Juliana had always been a smart girl. But if there wasn't one thing Christopher loved to do, it was subtly imply things without stating them at all. In the beginning, it had been just a game-- but now, it was almost like a hobby.

"If that is what you want," he shrugged slightly, placing the glass lightly back on the table. Christopher glanced behind him, catching a glimsp of a few people. "Then yes." It wasn't like they were going to miss anything here. Though, it was upsetting he wouldn't be able to try to walk over to his sister and her husband any longer; she really had improved her weaving skills.

His smile hooked as he looked back at Juliana, amused. "Oh yes, riveting." He really was going to regret leaving this event, honestly. Smoothly, Christopher stood up, brushing off his dress robes in the process.

"Are we ready then?" he asked, holding out a hand for her.

"What I want?" Juliana asked. "Right about now, I'd say it's what I need, darling." Anything to get out of this place and away from this wedding. It wasn't as if Juliana bid the Jugson couple any ill will--on the contrary, it was good to see that they seemed to be so very in love with each other. But well, as all of society knew, she had never been one much for weddings, nor had had much luck where they were concerned.

She slipped her hand into Christopher's and stood up from her chair. With her free hand, she smoothed out her dress, as if it was going to make any difference ten minutes from now. "More than ready."

This dress Anneliese had dressed Juliet up in was far too long for Rhys' liking. No, it was just too long in general. Didn't she know, to make things easier for all of them, that the thing was eventually going to get ripped or shrugged up and off anyway? So why go against the grain and let it be long? Completely unnecessary, if you asked him. And not to mention obnoxious.

And to think, they had even been as so nice as to give the newlyweds the precious Nibbles as a wedding present. And what did Rhys get in return as a thank you for being a good best man giving the best gift ever? Juliet wearing some green dress that went beyond her knees.

Impatiently, Rhys gripped at Juliet's side as he pushed her harder up against the wall. At least it wasn't all the way to the floor, he supposed. Nor did it inhibit him of snogging her any less.

"How much longer---- do you think we have to--- stay. Here," he muttered into the side of her neck, already knowing the answer. Until the almost end. Or at least that was the expected thing to do when you were actually somewhat important in the ceremony, unfortunately. Though honestly enough, Rhys didn't really think Will would care that much if at all. Technically speaking, they had already left the center room.

Juliet smirked, the hot breath on her neck causing her to lean her head even further to the side, expose the skin there even more to her husband's--that thought was still absolutely hilarious--mouth. "Bloody---wait it out, we haven't even been here that long," she told him, although she was about as ready to leave as Rhys was. It was strange, the way that their relationship had done a 180 since this sudden plot to deceive the rest of the world, and that included actually wanting to go home and shag him as soon as she could every night. It was like back when they had been dating the first time; Juliet was all of a sudden remembering the things about Rhys that she had liked, and how much his personality tended to mirror her own.

Speaking of their devious plot, however, she really should have been more concerned about what they were doing right then. Sure, they had already decided snogging rather publicly--along with donning her ring around her neck, that had Caradoc really twitching--was a good way to torment and tease their elder brothers, but Juliet couldn't help but wonder if one of them wasn't going to catch on. She wondered if there was any way that Theo or Caradoc was smart enough to figure out that their younger siblings were leading them along.

---oh honestly, it was Caradoc she was talking about. Of course he wasn't smart enough to figure it out.

"I would bet you ten galleons that right now my brother is hiding around a corner and going absolutely insane," Juliet muttered into Rhys' ear quietly.

A low chuckle escaped his lips, because honestly enough, that most likely wasn't far from the truth. It was amusingly obvious how wound up Juliet's older brother, and his own, were about something so simple as Juliet wearing the ring around her neck. Which only affirmed that yes, they really had teamed up against them which was--- very sad. And extremely strange. And slightly unsettling.

But. Rhys could actually care less. They could do whatever the hell they pleased at this point; he was fairly confident nothing they could do would bother him anymore.

"If only we could take a picture," he huskily mused, mouth curling into a half smile as his hands went up her neck and to her face. "We should--- really do things like this more often."

Juliet leaned forward with her head a little to capture his lips, her own hands slipping under his suit jacket and fingers tightening around his shirt. It was a hold that said that she really wanted to pull that shirt out from his trousers--and could do it any time, honestly, she was Juliet after all--but was keeping herself in check for the time being. They were a little restricted on free time, both being in the wedding party, and the only thing worse than not being able to do anything at all was being interrupted while doing something.

No, Juliet was determined to hold out all night. After all, if they had to take this somewhere else, there was significantly less chance of Caradoc seeing, and that would be a tragedy.

"How long do you think----we ought to give it----before going back----in, all tousled----and guilty-looking?" she asked in-between kisses.

You know, this could have gone a lot worse.

Will really hadn't realized how much went into a wedding; he'd stayed far away from Caitlin's and merely arrived at the ceremony (after sending Frank Longbottom to France, of course...), Deidra eloped, Bree's was in their backyard, and well...he honestly had not known the effort it was to put something like this together. He was glad that he had, of course, and the whining and complaining he'd done during the past few weeks were silenced as he amazed himself with how remarkable everything was.

And maybe he was just a bit in shock at the idea of being married, things like that tended to make your eyes glaze over in either pure happiness or absolute horror.

As Will tried to make the kiss linger some more, he figured that this wasn't absolute horror he was feeling. They'd gotten over their baby...bump, as silly as that sounded, even though it was mostly a topic they avoided for the time being. He was getting used to the idea of being a father, as much as he thought possible with only a handful of people (not including any of his family) actually knowing. It should be an interesting time.

"Well, that's good," he murmured, still leaning in toward her to hopefully snag another kiss, "because then this would've been quite the waste."

She let out a breath of air, smile still alive on her face. Anneliese's hand reached up to the back of his head to rest her fingers in his hair. Now, she hardly was even thinking about the baby, or telling their family about him or--- even their guests, for that matter. She no longer cared if they were having a good time, because she was certainly feeling good enough for almost everyone if they weren't.

Which obviously wasn't happening, because everyone should be having a good time at their wedding; there was defintiely enough people there for someone else to at least know two other people.

"Hmm yes, I think so," she giggled, only stopping to kiss him again. Eventually, Anneliese relaced her fingers with his, honestly unable to completely sit perfectly still.

"Think of all the wasted cake."

"There is never wasted cake when I'm around," Will said smoothly, eyebrows rising in an arrogant manner. Arrogant about his vast eating skills, oh, yes. It was definitely the way to survive when you were the youngest of six siblings, and the shortest until the age of thirteen or so.

Will pushed back into his chair to look out at the crowd, and actually glad to see that people at least looked to be having a good time. Not sure why he cared, of course, but as it was an important day of his life, he was enjoying the fact that it wasn't completely ruined by some idiot causing a scene. Because then not-such-nice-things would have to happen.

But that didn't seem to be the case. Will dropped his head to his shoulder to examine Anneliese, and was incredibly amused with how his lips could not stop themselves from turning up into a smile. She was gorgeous. They'd had a long and tiresome road, but--they were finally here. Will had never had anything good for so long, so--he now understood why people said marriage was the start of the rest of your life. Nothing else compared to this.

"Do you want to dance?" His face broke out into an exaggeratedly shocked expression at his own words, "Oh man, did I just say that?"

He seemed to always end up in big social situations where he A) Didn't know anyone B) Felt quite awkward at them because of people in attendance and C) Could have a lot of fun, but that might cause more trouble than it was worth. The Jugson wedding, seemed to have a bit from all three columns, and Sebastian Goldstein was wondering why they'd been invited in the first place. He knew Mackenzie knew Will, and---apparently that was enough. There were a lot of people here, so maybe they'd just decided to invite everyone in wizarding England.

But, everyone in wizarding England included Mackenzie's older brother, Christopher. Sebastian wasn't sure if his wife had decided on sending a birthday present or not to her brother, but he had the feeling that even if Christopher adored the gift, it would not stop the glares Sebastian felt being stabbed into his back. At least it wasn't a steak knife.

He stood by Mackenzie's side as she chatted with someone she hadn't seen in quite awhile--or whatever it was, he'd just nodded and looked away to try and catch sight of anyone he knew. Was it a rule to not invite Gryffindors to your wedding, or what? At least the food was good; he stuffed a chocolate something into his mouth as his foot tapped in beat with the song.

Mackenzie thought that she had been doing a good thing coming to this wedding. A genuinely selfless and nice thing to do. Honestly, she had. She hadn't expected that everyone there would be so--- well, not anyone that Sebastian particularly knew or even liked. Actually, if she really wanted to count, there were probably more people here that disliked her more than they disliked him. Coming had not been a very good idea, which only reaffirmed her original thought of leaving as early as possible without looking inappropriately rude.

Which, according to her time, was still about two hours away from now.

So, until then, she would have to smile and talk as if nothing was wrong, keeping away from certain people (already Mackenzie was growing tired of maneuvering around the room away from her brother without looking suspicious every few minutes because honestly enough, she was a bit afraid of leaving Sebastian by himself), and--- oh yes, smiling the whole time. It felt like her face was going to fall off.

"I'm sorry," Mackenzie sighed, finally ending yet another conversation. She quickly wrapped her arm in Sebastian's arm, as if reassuring herself that this really hadn't been the stupidest idea she had ever gone through with.

"You should try this---" he said, ignoring her apology because, really. They were adults. They shouldn't have to be hiding out from people who disliked them or that they didn't care for. Right? This was how Sebastian liked to see the world, but in the meantime, he could make the best of a shoddy situation with all of the desserts being passed around and the open bar. Oh, yes.

He quickly swiped off another of the chocolate delights from a passing waiter's tray and offered it to Mackenzie, eyebrows raising as he tempted her with it. He could not recall if they had things like this at their wedding, but he was a bit preoccupied with the whole getting married business.

"Or maybe---" Sebastian bit his tongue to hold back a poisoning joke, but decided that there were too many people in attendance for someone to try and pull that off...right? Right. "--you want to dance?"

"Emmeline," Caradoc hissed, leaning forward slightly so he could more effictively tower over her. She was ignoring him at the moment, because she was talking to someone else, yes, but he really couldn't be bothered with that small detail. Because, there was something much bigger at hand here that she at least had to know something about.

And he had to know about it now. She had to know about it, Juliet and Emmeline talked far much more than he liked, but now--- his sister was bloody wearing the stupid ring around her neck! Caradoc glanced over his shoulder, as if suddenly seeing his sister or her new-old boyfriend again (were they even that? not know was annoying him) would give him the answer that he wanted.

"Emmeline," Caradoc continued, snapping his head back to lean even more in her ear. After a few moments of silence, and the other person glaring at him, Caradoc let out a loud, impatient sigh. "Oh, for fuck's sake," he muttered, throwing his hands up into the air slightly. He really had half a mind to drag her away--- But. He. Couldn't. That would only lead to her never telling him.

"Emmeline."

"Oh, my, God!" Emmeline let out loudly, her hands going up with a snap as her head bopped quickly with words. He actually could get more annoying! Her eyes were wide with confused amazement as she stared up at Caradoc, trying to figure out what he could honestly want that he'd have to resort to behaving like a two-year-old while she was trying to have a conversation with Phoebe Smethwyck. The other girl excused herself before Emmeline had a chance to turn around and tell her to ignore her idiot of a boyfriend, and this only caused Emmeline to frown deeper.

"What is wrong with you?" she snapped, fixing the fallen strap of her dress. He had been absolutely ridiculous all night, following Juliet around as if she held the answer to all of life's questions, and now that he decided to supposedly 'grace' her with his presence, it was to behave like a terribly annoying broken record.

She couldn't even silently think that she was overreacting; he was just honestly being that annoying. Her mood wasn't the best, despite the fact that it was her best friend's wedding. When your best friend was marrying a man she knew (well, not really, but--) was a death eater, one's mood could not be all that great.

His face contorted for a second, but then relaxed as she finally spoke to him. "There's no reason to get angry," he responded in a muffled tone, holding back his eyes from rolling as he crossed his arms over his chest. That would have been a little over the extreme. Or actually, completely called for, but Caradoc was fairly certain Emmeline find it so. She had no idea how severely important this was.

"Nothing is wrong--- look," Caradoc rushed quickly, his hand moving to hold onto one of her elbows. Juliet and Rhys weren't anywhere in sight (oh, how he hated them), his brother was completely useless when it came to any form of information about them, so that only left Emmeline.

"Calm down," he instructed randomly, suddenly aware of how bad of a mood she seemed to be in. "Emmeline," Caradoc started again, much more cautious than before. "Did Juliet get married to Nott? I don't care if she told you not to say anything, it's important."

Her brow furrowed in---not confusion, though maybe it was a little; why on earth was he even interested in...well, no, she could sort of understand why Caradoc would want to be involved in his sister's life to this rather creepy level, because the Dearborns lived to annoy each other, but this was just--strange. She'd hoped she would know if one of her best friends had gotten married, and she had seen the ring on Juliet's necklace but--that could mean anything.

"I...don't think so?" she said slowly, looking out to see if she could spot Juliet, to make eye contact and further prove that her brother was being ridiculous once again. Juliet and Rhys were acting rather cozy earlier; maybe the ring meant they'd gotten engaged. She could understand wanting to keep that to themselves for a while, until Emmeline began to think it was Juliet and Rhys, and the idea of them being sentimental simply did not work.

Maybe she just made him buy her a diamond ring. That sounded more realistic.

Caradoc watched Emmeline carefully for a long moment, his eyes locked on her face the entire while. He was sometimes able to tell when she was lying or not (really just when she was caught off guard), but this was not one of those instances. And he most certainly didn't believe that she just knew nothing, because whatever the hell was going on, Juliet would have told everyone but him just to make it that much more amusing for her.

"Either you do or you don't," he demanded quickly with a rush of air. Caradoc took another breath, and let go of Emmeline's elbow once he noticed he had begun to hold onto it tighter than before. While shaking his head, he realized that acting this way was probably only fueling Juliet even more. He shouldn't--- why was this bothering him so much-- but. He had to know. Something-- anything. He really shouldn't be caring this much.

"Emmeline," Caradoc started again, his eyebrows going high on his face now. "She didn't say anything to you?" he repeated, trying his best to seem at least a little controlled. Afterall, it was only a matter of time before Emmeline completely blew up at him. Which would just cause more problems then he wanted to deal with, honestly.

He was being completely and utterly rude (and weird), and a very large part of her wished to simple vanish and let him think that he was being tugged around by not only his sister, but herself. So close to just disapparating, or to at least shrug awkwardly as if she didn't want to reveal a secret. No, she was just not in the mood for Caradoc's games right now, and seeing as she didn't know anything, well---Emmeline did not like not knowing things.

"Not a word," she said with a breath, eyes now scanning the crowd for a drink. Yes, she desperately wanted to have a good time at the wedding, but for nearly a year she'd been suppressing her worry about Anneliese entering this marriage, and now seeing her in the white dress and dancing with Jugson-- it all seemed to be rushing to the forefront of her mind and she could not stop thinking about it.

Ignore the fact that she was dating a death eater; Caradoc at least had the Order on his side. Jugson was...maybe the auror training had changed him, maybe, but that day in her old house still jumped to mind every time she saw him. Quite annoying, quite---unnerving. Maybe this could be good for Anneliese...they wouldn't hurt one of their own, right?

See, now he didn't believe her. Emmeline was no longer looking at him (she had never started), and to him, that obviously meant she must know something. An inkling, a phrase must have been passed between them, or anything like that. Caradoc drew another breath of deep air as he quickly became uncontrollably impatient. He would think that when it came to certain things, he would trump over Juliet--- but no, apparently not. That thought alone made him feel hot, to the point where an almost burning feeling began to course through him.

Fine--- fine. There was another way he could find out.

"Fine," Caradoc snapped, not waiting to grab Emmeline's wrist and drag her out toward the dance floor. It would only take a few seconds; she wouldn't even notice, Emmeline certainly seemed in a bad enough and distracted mood to make this simple.

While it took a few minutes to get her to actually dance, finally there came a moment when she looked up at him. As unnoticed as possible for those few seconds, Caradoc searched for any recent memory including Juliet that gave off the emotion of surprise or secrecy or (it would be easy to find, he has just pestered her about it for a good five minutes, and she was still angry about it)---

Was she honestly thinking about Jugson of all things? As he pulled out (nothing! She knew nothing), Caradoc couldn't help but look at her, perplexed. Now that he knew she didn't know anything about Juliet (what was his sister doing?), he felt it was right to focus on other things. The memory of what had happened in her house over a year ago was still fresh, right on the surface of her emotion and memory. Surely she didn't think he was going to attack her again? He frowned.

There was something terribly wrong with this man.

Emmeline protested loudly, making sure that everyone around them knew that he was forcing her to dance, or--move stiffly together, whatever it was they were doing right now. She was in no mood to dance, she was in no mood to actually be near Caradoc right now, and all she really wanted to do was sit down and act exhausted so that no one would bother her. Couldn't she go back to picking out centerpieces and little edible fruit cups? That was fun, thinking about Anneliese with him for the rest of her life---not as good.

It was strange. Evan Rosier, who Emmeline knew had been her capture back in September, was roaming the party, she'd seen him, but because she couldn't associate his face with anything, it didn't move her---but now as Will and Anneliese took the floor or--began to mingle near them, Emmeline found herself involuntarily pushing closer to Caradoc.

Merlin's bloody--she'd faced death eaters head on, and she was worried about him? She was more than embarrassed about it, but that didn't stop her from getting nervous. Ugh.

"What?" she nearly snapped at Caradoc as she finally spotted his less than amused expression. Her eyes softened and she let out a breath, even though he really had no reason for an apology, "Sorry, I'm just--tired."

Jugson? Why Jugson.

Evan was here, someone who Caradoc personally thought was a much larger threat to Emmeline, and yet she hadn't even seemed to have acknowledged his presence. Will was at his own wedding for fuck's sake, what did she think was actually going to happen? He had thought, once he finally did get the chance to poke around her inner thoughts, that he would be better able to understand Emmeline. But, no. That obviously would never happen. Caradoc pressed his lips together, not liking how Emmeline was so... not like herself.

He watched her quietly for a few more seconds, finding it even more curious that she was now apologizing to him. For nothing, really. Maybe she was 'subconciously' trying to get him to apologize to her.

"Relax," Caradoc eased to her, still frowning slightly. This was steadily beginning to bother him; didn't she realize that no one was to going to be able to even touch her now with him here? He sighed, and blinked slowly.

Well. Either way, she was going to find out about what he just did five seconds ago; it was really just the matter of how she would find out. "Stop worrying," he sighed, readying himself for---- her.

Sometimes---not a lot of the time, but sometimes she hated how her mind immediately jumped from one idea to the next so quickly. Worrying? What did he think she was worrying about? Juliet? No, she'd shown no concern about that at all, why would he think she was worried about whether or not his sister was engaged? That didn't make sense. What she really was worrying about, he would have no idea, unless Caradoc had suddenly become insanely in tune with her emotions and feelings and actually thought past---

--thought, had he--

Nooo. No, right?

He didn't look too proud of himself, or at least, he wasn't happy. Relax, stop worrying; he wouldn't be telling her to ignore his silly reaction toward Juliet's supposed secret. Emmeline's lips tightened greatly, knowing that Caradoc had joked (or at least she thought) about reading her mind more than once, but he hadn't, right? He wouldn't?

Well, no, he would, but--

Fighting against a rather loud voice saying to trust him, Emmeline let her foul mood get the best of her and she dropped her hands from around his neck, stiff and stoic in the sea of dancing bodies. "Beautiful, Caradoc, really. Can you see what I'm thinking now?"

No. He should say no. He should state that he had no idea what she was thinking about then, even though Caradoc had a fairly good idea of very distinct thoughts she was cursing about him at this point. He was telling the truth! He had only looked into her mind for a few seconds, not daring any long because she might notice, making this happen. But for some reason beyond him now (it had seemed like the only appropriate thing to do a few seconds ago) had decided to tell her that he had poked into her inner thoughts without her permission.

Because... there something was wrong with him, tonight. Perhaps it was the fact that they were at a wedding (together, he might add, but he had sufficiently distracted himself adequately to not be bothered by it), or mostly because of this Juliet development, but it felt like he could barely control himself. Ugh. He might as well just be dubbed a Gryffindor for fuck's sake, because that was honestly how he had acted---

Too bad he couldn't tell Emmeline that.

Caradoc quickly let go of her as she went rigid. He really should have prepared himself more appropriately for this. Obviously she was going to be in a bad mood because her best friend was getting married... and it really didn't help that the person she was marrying to didn't exactly make her feel comfortable in the slightest. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

"No," he replied soothingly, his eyebrows shooting down to help convey nothing short of guilt across his face. She was not going to believe that. Caradoc scratched the back of his neck awkwardly for a second and pulled his lips in tight. Emmeline was at least going to hit him, so he should prepare himself for the worst.

She blinked quickly, forcing herself to boil down the anger that was quickly rising up within her. No, she couldn't cause a scene at her best friend's wedding, Anneliese would kill her. It was just so infuriating, and all it caused Emmeline to do was think back to any time she had felt like he'd read her mind and had dismissed it as paranoia. Had he done it before? Dedalus said he couldn't control his mind reading sometimes, was Caradoc that perfectly in tuned with his abilities?

"You are---" she began in a low hiss, but was gripped tightly in the arm and dragged into the crowd by a nearly hysterical Ellie Bell. At first Emmeline thought there was something wrong, that something terrible had happened, but the loud shrieks Ellie was emitting weren't that of tears or terror (so sad that being tortured was where her mind went) but that of exaggerated glee.

Emmeline spotted Anneliese standing on the small stage, waving her beautiful bouquet around her head, and she quickly figured it out. Ooh. She flushed deeply, yanking her arm out of Ellie's grip but remaining by her side. Oh, this was brilliant, really. She had no desire to catch the bouquet when she was so terribly annoyed at her boyfriend. The last thing on her mind would be catching the damn thing, as getting married next was not only unlikely but highly unfavorable at the moment.

Though---it would make Caradoc cringe and fall to the ground in absolute terror (or death, he may even die), wouldn't it?

Emmeline twisted her neck to find him in the crowd and smiled brightly, turning back to Anneliese with a look of excitement. Oh, Caradoc didn't need to have any idea that she had no intention of actually making a dive for the flowers. She just needed to bounce on her toes a bit, and nudge Ellie around as if that were the case.

Brad had zero clue as to why he was at Anneliese's wedding without a date, but it was Auror Jugson's wedding (and Auror Dawlish's brother-in-law) and free food and some free stuff to take home. He wasn't at the wedding for the free stuff, it was just a good perk. His flat totally needed some flowers and plants, make it look more lived in. Being a trainee was hard and exhausting and he rarely had time off that he actually did anything with other than sleeping and reading the texts assigned (and maybe a little extra reading on the side). So going out to a wedding was nice and it was Anneliese, who looked very happy and that was good enough for Brad.

He was poking about one of the food stations, looking for something to eat and trying not to look too conspicuous, but it was obvious he a bit out of place. That didn't much matter, Brad didn't really know most of the people here beyond the people he'd gone to school with. He was just going to have some food and take the free things home and hopefully get a little sloshed. Maybe someone single would take pity on him but Brad really didn't come to the reception in hopes of that.

It really shouldn't be so easy to drop off her son at his grandparents' house. Deidra hadn't felt guilty at all about leaving Milo with the McKinnons (even Marlie and Melinda had offered to swing by to see him---he was such a tourist attraction), and maybe that made her a bad mother, but honestly. Did wanting to have a night of dancing with her husband make her a bad wife? No, no it did not, so sometimes you just had to give and take.

And anyway, they'd kept Milo around long enough for pictures, so.

"I think I can get my holiday moved up to the middle of August instead of the end," she said offhandedly, twisting her napkin and attempting to put it back into the intricately folded shape it had been in before she'd used it. Her eyes lifted up to Matt, "When can you, do you think?"

Her husband's idea of a holiday could not have come at a better time; the planetarium was dreadfully boring, and Noah refused to let her bring Milo in during the day unless she stayed in the lounge, and that was just counterproductive. So it would definitely be a good time to spend with the family.

Matt had taken his napkin and folded in into a paper crane. It was one of those strange things he always did, like whenever he went into an Asian restaurant, he had to take carefully remove his chopsticks from its wrapper so he can fold the paper into a square chopstick rest. Like his wife, he had felt lightweight guilty about leaving his son at his mum and dad's - even though they had both enthusiastically took him in; when they had dropped him off, his mum had practically snatched baby Milo from his arms and kicked them out of the house.

He turned to his wife, listening to her question. "Hmmm!" he said, scrunching up his face to think. "I believe I've accumulated enough paid vacation days so far that I can take a whole month and a half off if I wanted to." He grinned. "I know I'm ready for Italy! And Auntie's traveling this year, so her villa is empty."

Cordie sniffled as she dabbed her eyes. The ceremony had been so beautiful and Will looked so handsome and so did Rhys, standing up there in their nice outfits and Cordie had practically sobbed through the entire wedding, before the ceremony had even started, she'd been tearing up. Even baby Edward (as he was currently named Edward Anthony Rhys Nott) had enjoyed the ceremony, spending the entire time telling Cordie how much fun he was having by kicking relentlessly, finding her bladder his favorite target.

Right now she was taking a rest, because being big and fat and pregnant was kind of hard on the ankles and back. But due to the kicking, she'd been forced to get up and go to the loo, no less than four times since the end of the ceremony, so Cordie had parked herself near the edge of the party, closest to the door that lead to the loo. She really could use some food right now. Cordie sniffled some more and looked around the room for her husband or Rhys, or really anyone that would give her a bit of a break.

Theo examined his nails as the vows were exchanged, at least that's what he thought was going on, he wasn't really paying much attention. Weddings weren't his thing. He was pretty sure that Cordie was crying next to him but that didn't phase him much anymore, she was pregnant and hormonal, crying was normal these days.

The reception wasn't much better, except for the fact that there was food, that was always a plus. He took his plate of food and started to meander around the party talking to various people, seeing how long he could pretend that he didn't notice that his wife was on the fringe of the party looking sad and pathetic. He was more worried about the fact that Rhys and Juliet had disappeared and no one had really seen them in a while. And that she was wearing something particularly shiny around her neck during the wedding, something that looked an awful lot like a ring. Theo couldn't really think much more on that because the gentleman he was talking to so kindly pointed out the whereabouts of his wife and he now had to go and tend to her.

"I brought you some fruit" Theo said kindly as he approached his wife, handing her his plate with the strawberries and other miscellaneous fruit that he didn't eat and had just been carrying around as he conversed. "You looked a little hungry."

Theo had brought her fruit? That was nice! Cordie sniffled some more and took the plate but set it in front of her and tugged Theo down into the chair next to her. "Thank you love," she said, rubbing his knee and smiling thoughtfully. "My feet hurt though and my back and he's been kicking really hard and I think he doesn't appreciate the music." Yes, she was whinging but she was nearly thirty weeks pregnant and to Cordie, that was a good enough excuse for whinging.

She took a strawberry and started nibbling on it, "Have you seen how pretty everyone is tonight? Will is so handsome and then there's Anneliese who is just so gorgeous and Erin and Deidra, sooooo pretty. Theo this is such a great evening," Cordie started sniffling again and reached for her handkerchief, "I don't know why I'm crying when it's so pretty!"

Vivica loved weddings now, they were absolutely wonderful and it had nothing to do with her recent engagement, but perhaps it did. She knew it was the fact that everyone got dressed up, you got to see who was there and with whom and she got to show off her lovely new arm candy. She was currently making her rounds, looking for someone to talk to and keeping an eye on Avery - not that she didn't trust him to behave, she just wanted to make sure he was keeping up with his end of the 'being a good sport' bargain. She'd picked out his outfit and made sure he knew that he had to be good or he wouldn't be getting any sex that night. Which he would, at any rate, but it was good to see how far she could push his buttons.

She held her drink and smiled at someone as they passed by, nodding slightly and looking around for someone else to chat with or to just see what people were doing. Vivica wanted to talk to Rhys a little, but didn't want to interrupt his cuddle session. There was always Will, but she couldn't exactly find him, which was alright. It was his wedding, he could be anywhere he wanted. Maybe Avery would indulge her a little more and dance with her, hm...

... or not.

She had really wondered all night if it was a prudent idea, going to make conversation with the girl whom your brother had cheated on with you, thus ruining their wedding, thus revealing a rather delicate secret, thus----oh what the hell was she talking about, of course it was a prudent idea. It was a hilarious idea, in fact; Alecto did so love playing games with people, after all, and she still hadn't quite forgiven Vivica for the wedding nonsense that she had singlehandedly ruined. And let's face it---after a few glasses of champagne, most anything seemed like a good idea to Alecto Carrow.

The blonde woman smirked at Vivica's turned back, cradling her newest glass of champagne in between her middle and index fingers. "Lovely wedding, isn't it, dear?"

Avery, one the other hand, didn’t like weddings. He never had, really. The reception after the ceremony wasn’t unbearable, he supposed. The bridesmaids were free to run amok, and Avery was free to talk them up, drink champagne with them, and dance with them. Unfortunately, he wasn’t allowed to do any of the three anymore, or at least right now. That didn’t stop him from taking occasional glances at girls in dresses with short skirts. Ah, how he missed those days. Oh, wait – he knew that girl. What was her name…? Channel, Chantal… Sherry, maybe? Avery grinned back over her. He remembered she had nice legs, anyway.

While looking around, his eyes fell on a brunette who was in a very flattering black dress. Who was that? Oh, right. It was his fiancé. Avery figured he should probably make his way over her way to show that he was not only a good piece of eye candy, but a lovely significant other, as well. Grabbing another champagne flute (he may as well, it was the only thing keeping him from being nauseated by all the happiness), he made his way over to Vivica who was now accompanied by another girl he didn’t recognize. “Hello, ladies,” he greeted. Avery lovingly rested an arm around Vivica’s waist.
