Alice dropped down slowly, because---what if they ran out of cheese? Or the punch got cold and they needed more ice and cooling spells? See---she always did this. Well, with the few parties she'd actually thrown, she always immediately regretted offering to host them. She would rather she host them than anyone else, but Alice tended to fret like no other when it came to her guests.
"Frank won't talk about it," Alice said somewhat distractedly as she watched the Potters scoop out jello. Then, she blinked and realized that she was sitting and talking with Marlie, who she felt like she hadn't spoken to in years and suddenly Alice could not care if James and Lily dumped all of the jello and desserts into the pond.
Well, she'd care, but she'd probably miss them do it, she was so focused on Marlie.
"It was fun though, I mean--right? I don't want anyone in a bad mood over it." She wanted to say 'it was just a game' but Alice had learned quickly that quidditch was much more than a game. "It's nice to have everyone together."
