He wasn't quite expecting her to fling the door open like that.
Well, that was a lie.
He wasn't quite expecting her to assail him with her fists.
Well, that was a bit of a lie too.
All in all, he understood how she was feeling. But on the other hand, he did give her fair warning and she was rather flippant with their first meeting. And he tried to tell her so, amid the flying fists.
"Now, really, Miss Egg!" Archie began uncomfortably. "I am very sorry, really, but this isn't just a formality, you know! We do require that you come down to the office so we can assess the situation there. Flagrant misconduct simply cannot be overlooked, you know!"
