e s t e l l a ([info]estellerina) wrote in [info]valesco,
She said something like that to Jacob all the time. 'Oh, dear, you have been so busy today. Think it's time to relax?' The boy had learned early on that 'nap' meant no more playing, so that word was banned from the house. Relaxing time, however, was quite alright, because he didn't necessarily have to fall asleep. Estella wasn't sure how he'd come to this conclusion, or if he even had and it was really just her making up excuses for what worked and what didn't, but the point was that she got Caden's hint.

"You just got here.." she murmured, but even as she pouted she slid her feet to the ground. She had a feeling he would stay (she would make him, he could not possible make that trip again without splinching), but part of her wanted Caden to confirm that he would. She didn't want to ask, because there was the slight chance that he couldn't, but Estella figured her subtle hint at a question would suffice.

She stood between Caden's legs, hands on his shoulders to waste some time before getting into bed. Estella knew that once she was under the covers and her head hit the pillows, she'd be out for a light and--if she had to ship Caden back to Monaco for another week and a half in the morning, she certainly wanted to make sure she got every last second of his time with her.
