[JULES!]
WHO: Orpheus and Juliana Travers
WHERE: The Travers residence
WHAT: eh?
RATING: eh?
STATUS: wip

Orpheus yawn before aparating to the stoop outside his front door. It had been a very long Tuesday in his mind and although there was still another few hours of checking before it all had to make it to payroll on Thursday, he was done for the day, thankfully. Orpheus briefly checked his reflection in the window’s glass before loudly rattling the knob to let his wife know he was home from work.

The door opened and a house elf stuck out her head, welcoming him in. “I didn’t need you to open it for me,” he hissed under his breath, handing her his briefcase. “Master Travers is home, Miss Juliana,” the house elf called, shutting the door behind Orpheus. He turned around and glared at the small creature who popped out of sight immediately. “Darling,” Orpheus called into the house, “as it’s already been announced, I’m home.” Another night in paradise was about to begin, and Orpheus could hardly wait. Believe it or not, the thought of coming home excited held no tone of sarcasm in it. With his day being so monotonous and boring, Orpheus couldn't wait for whatever excitement his permanently unwelcome house guest had in store for him this evening.

'Master Travers is home, Miss Juliana'

Juliana mouthed the house elf's words mockingly to the book in her lap, pulling a face at it. Master Travers. Master Travers her arse. The Boy---oh how the house elf hated the way she called him that at each turn---was no more a 'master' than he was the bloody Minister for Magic, and she certainly would never abide by with anyone who wished for her to call him such. That was, of course, unless she was mocking the name, or her husband in general; an occasion which came along quite a lot, as it were.

She bit down on her tongue, stifling the snide reply she had prepared for him, and decided to opt for silence instead. It wasn't as if it would be shocking to anyone that she couldn't care less than he was home.

Kicking her feet up on the arm of the couch she had been laying on, Juliana settled back into her book again.

Orpheus wandered past the main staircase, in search of his elusive wife. It hadn't surprised him that she chose not to answer his loving call so instead of waiting for her to make her location known, he was off to sniff her out. Actually, she smelled quite good and was easily discovered on his favorite sofa. Walking past her, he knocked her feet off the couch, clucking softly.

"The fabric, dearest, that couch is difficult to have cleaned" he muttered, settling into an armchair and producing the newest copy of the prophet from beneath the cushion. He unfolded it like a large room divider in front of him, sealing Juliana off from his sight for the moment. "So how was work?" he began, skimming the business section and quickly losing interest so as to turn the page, his tone of voice rather bored.
