"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck---!"
That was the rather colorful string of words--or word, as it were--coming out of Meredith Fielding's mouth as she booked it down the corridor towards her next final. Which she was late for, oh shit oh shit the professor was going to have her head when she came in and she didn't mean to be late and all this running was doing a terror on the hair she had taken so much care with this morning and she was going fail this damn final and why had she had to fall asleep after lunch and possibly ruin her academic career and--
---when did she end up on the floor?
With thoughts going a thousand miles a minute about the possible ruination of her future at Hogwarts, Meredith hadn't even realized that she had just run smack into someone until her rump hit cold stone. And now her papers were everywhere and her book was--fuck fuck where was her book! She scrambled to grab up her scattered possessions, barely realizing that she had probably just thrown someone else down with her too. When the Hufflepuff finally did look up--and good ten seconds later--the experience was a rush of heat to her face.
She had just run into the most gorgeous man to step into Hogwarts.
"Oh shit."
