He was about to comment that maybe they needed to find Ares a boyfriend, when Jolene made her loaded comment. Not that Santiago believed that she meant to have it be so...there was a word for this, that it...oh, no, he could not think. His mind was just whirling with ideas, ideas that could be the 'something else' she had mentioned.

Of course, 'something else' could be making hot chocolate with marshmallows, but by the look on her face, Jolene's mind had jumped straight to the conclusions he had too. Which was...okay, it was becoming a bit more confusing now, because he had never exactly---well, he was a very religious person, and unlike some who liked to pick and choose (his sister, however, had made a mistake with her premarital activities), he had...just...followed the ways of the church. Which meant no sex. Everything before that was a bit vague, but.

Usually, from what he heard from his friends and co-workers, 'something else' was usually a hint and...now...he didn't know what to do.

"Do...you want to do something else?" Santiago asked, trying to grab some time. He probably should have mentioned to her that he was waiting until marriage for those kind of relations, but he'd never felt the need to tell her, because it just felt like Jolene wouldn't care or---and he didn't think she would, but now that the subject was apparently being brought up, he was worried. "We could do something else, if you want."
