BOBBIN, abigail ([info]trophy) wrote in [info]valesco,
Full attention was something that Abigail loved and happened to be rather used to. In fact, hardly anything could make her nearly as happy as attention did, be it in the good, better, or worst sense, it never really mattered as long as the spotlight was shining on her. She met his eyes unwaveringly and maintained that easy, aloof smirk. Sirius had always attracted her. No, it wasn't something she would dare admit or even allude to anyone, but it was there. She liked his bad boy image, the way he could push everyone's buttons, the way he was relentless in his pursuits, no matter what she said to the contrary. Of course, the man who was now her husband had chased her for years, but there was no fun in that chase, not when her parents insisted she finally settle in. Sirius, on the other hand, was off limits. Was anything more tempting that what was off limits? No one had ever pushed her to him like they'd pushed her to her husband, but she had always liked the games they played in school and how he was probably the only one who knew she'd only been playing at not being interested. Or at least she assumed he knew. Back in school, though, she wouldn't have known what to do next once the chase had finished. These days, though, Abigail knew very well.

"My husband would not dare put me to work, Mr. Black. The last time I stood over a steaming cauldron had to have been seventh year Potions class," she paused, glancing over to the barkeep and then letting her eyes slide off of him as though he were moldy cheese, then returned her gaze to Sirius. "A glass of water would be fine. No lemon, no ice," she said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Abigail continued as though the man were no longer present, her full attention back on Sirius. He was still gorgeous, if not moreso than when she'd seen him last. "I've been keeping myself with hobbies, though nothing worth noting. And what of you? Have you picked up any new hobbies, Sirius?"
