Characters: Harmony Yates and Moses Dodderidge
Setting: The Leaky Cauldron, January 25th, 1979 about noon.
Summary: Harmony becomes reacquainted with a childhood hero, Moses is stunned.
Rating/Status: PG/PG-13/I have no idea where this will go XD / Unfinished

Moses sat at the table nearest the fireplace, just as promised. He wasn't sure who this girl was or what she looked like; the only image he had in his mind was some poor, frail thing shivering from the cold of her flat. Of course, he doubted that she would actually be shivering, but that was beside the point. He was in definite need of food or drink or something, but he wasn't going to start unless his date was there. He gave a quick nod at his mum before sighing; she usually took Fridays off, but bugger his luck if she wasn't doing that now. On the bright side, they'd have decent food at a low cost this way.

Startled by the unexpected approach, Harmony gave a little gasp and retreated a step before nearly blurting out that she was waiting for someone. But, oh! It was a cute boy. Cute boys were always a welcome distraction in her eyes. Even if she was a bit dusty from her trip. And it sounded like he knew her? He certainly didn't look familiar. Did he? Oh, bugger had she forgotten another one? The one-time shags were always the worst to try and recall. Then of course there was her blind date. She stared at the new bloke's eyes a little longer. Hmm. Blind date could wait.

"Well, I--" An already flustered Harmony cast a hurried glance down her front as she continued to brush at the soot stains and looked back up to the man with a look of worried curiosity. "You normally see me covered in dirt?" she deadpanned.

"No, not the dirt. You just...your face looks exactly the same," he said awkwardly as he finally moved to grab a broom (just in time to hand it to the bus boy his mum had sent over to deal with it). "You've got, er..." he stopped mid-sentence and moved closer to pick a big clump of soot dust stuff out of her hair. "There."

"Harmony Yates, yeah?" he was hoping he was right, and that he wouldn't end up looking like a loon. She probably didn't even remember him, anyways.
