Open to Friends!
Alice could now say she understood why people made such a fuss over weddings.

Well, no, not really---she would enjoy having the pictures with her friends, and dancing, but everything else was really unnecessary to her. Not that it was bad, no, no it was terribly fun to dress up and see everyone else dress up, but she had never been one to seek attention. And, really, that's all a wedding was, making sure everyone in the whole world knew that the bride and groom loved each other very much. Let's show you by wearing a big white dress and snazzy tuxedo!

No, no--they could just look back at the year Frank and Alice have had as a married couple, to understand what they meant to each other. Admittedly, it wasn't as stressed as some other's may have been, thankfully, but they still had made it. A lot of people don't even get to one year, and Alice was very, very proud of them.

Of course, their marriage might be over the moment Frank found out she helped a certain Slytherin sneak into their house last night, but Alice had faith in her husband; or, at least, she had faith in her ability to produce tears on the spot, and therefore confuse her husband into forgiving her.

Hey--to make a marriage work, you have to know how to survive.

With the party in full swing, Alice made her way through the crowd, thanking people for coming and accepting compliments and all the other things a bride-again was supposed to do. It was really nice, seeing all of her friends with happy, smiling faces, as it had been such a rough year. Maybe there was a reason for weddings afters all.

Everything was pink. Pink! How could everything be pink?

Sure, there were chocolate colored napkins, and the bridesmaids had a brown little ribbon, but pink was the overwhelming color. Agatha put on a good face when people greeted her or when she rushed over to say her hellos, but it was almost painful to be in the sea of pink. Surely Frank had nothing to do with this; Alice must have a couple of screws loose.

She was probably just being mean. This whole happy-ever-after wedded bliss had never been part of her mindset, or at least, Agatha hadn't really had a chance for it, so maybe she was just being harsh. But it was a lot of pink.

"Smeth," she stated, gripping onto her friend's arm. Agatha had basically been dragging him around the place, because...because she could. And he needed to get out of his rut, "Dance."

Even though Smeth had not planned on going to the Longbottom wedding date-less, here he was. He tried his darnedest to put on his best face and smile and greet old friends, but of course, no matter how many times he tried to ignore the happy, smiling couples around him and focus on chatting it up with friends...

SIGH.

Luckily one of his best friends Aggie Timms was here as well. It sometime astonished him that such a little person could exert so much force (he will adamantly swear that Agatha had some sort of superhuman strength; it would make him feel loads better about his own lack of bodily strength).

"Certainly," he said agreeably, setting down the hors d'oeuvre Marlie McKinnon had handed to him and taking Agatha's lead onto the dance floor.

"So, I'm sneaking into the Hobgoblin concert next weekend to try and get Stubby Boardman to endorse SETMAC," she said as if commenting on the weather. Well, it was her plan, anyway. The Hobgoblins were the it band of the time, and Agatha had been noticing that the band members were--she supposed, a bit friendly by their comments in the journals.

Hey, they probably had a million crazy fan girls trying to get backstage daily, one of them has to get through at some point. And she had a more worthy cause than shagging Stubby.

Which would probably not be a bad thing, but. Not on her list of things to do. Literally? Noo.

"What do you think?" she asked, eyebrows quirking high, "Got any advice? Any of your superheroes go on any adventures that could help me out?"

Smeth arched his eyebrows, looking down at Agatha with barely contained amusement. He always admired the planning and plotting that she was usually up to - even if those plans sometimes (which was actually often) involved him.

"Hmmm." Green eyes narrowed slightly in consideration at her question and he smiled. "Perhaps you can go in disguise? Maybe dress yourself as one of his fangirls so you can easily get past security, or something of that sort?"
