Jude didn't go out with Amaryllis expecting to be proper in the least. That helped things considerably and kept him from getting grumpy. Then again, he had a hard time being grumpy around his second wife. "Hm..." He murmured quietly, smoothing his fingers over her neck while she spoke. "I wouldn't want you to be stuck in this, being as it is the wrong colour. That just wouldn't do."
He was just as aware as she was that there weren't many people in the shop and they were all quite distracted with some expensive handbag or another.
