Avery the Great ([info]asloan) wrote in [info]valesco,
Avery was pleased when Giada finally gave in to meeting up with him. They hadn’t seen each other for a while now, and Avery thought a visit was long overdue, even if she didn’t feel the exact same and could go longer without seeing him. Of course Avery took pride in knowing that Giada’s mom was fond of him, making his ego swell even more. He thought Mrs. Vance had good taste; after all, Giada had turned out so well, hadn’t she? That cougar had to be on to something. Avery actually hadn’t been lying when he told Giada that he considered her one of his oldest friends. They had known each other for a very long time, but most Avery’s friend didn’t last very long. It was probably because he slept with friends, their sisters and even sometimes their girlfriends. It was a bad habit.

Of course Avery didn’t know that Giada was currently residing with her sister. He should probably be thankful that he actually didn’t go over, because that probably wouldn’t have ended up so well.

Avery had wondered why Giada wanted to meet at some hole in the wall coffee shop, but she had picked out everything, so he thought it best not to bother her. Women could be very controlling. Not that it was such a bad thing… in bed. Slipping behind her, Avery placed two hands delicately over her eyes. “Guess who?” he asked, not bothering to disguise his voice.
