The moment that he had separated from the group, Corner had his head in the game. His primary objective was, as always, to capture as many of the other side as possible -- the secondary one was to stay alive, no matter what he told the other Aurors. It was a personal choice between safety and progress, he supposed. He didn't enjoy this part of the job, but the part of him that knew it was necessary insisted he do it well.
And after all, he'd been dueling for longer than some of the trainees had been alive. He caught movement out of the corner of his eye and sent a powerful disarming spell in Amery's direction.
