Amery slithered through the chaos, looking for anything, anybody, worth trying to kill or play with. Big game. This was the sort of thing he relished in one respect and hated with another. The energy, the adrenaline was infectious-- a perfect sort of atmosphere for twisting limbs and snapping bones. But on the other hand, he didn't feel that half the people their really enjoyed taking their time with what they were doing, that they didn't appreciate what it was every time they took a life with their own hands.
Because Amery did. He fully understood it, fully relished it, not very deep down. He smirked when he saw a familiar figure come into view.
"Excellent," he murmured, stretching his wand arm fluidly. Reckless attitude was hardly what he had in mind when he found Corner Conway too distracted to properly defend himself.
