Oh, that was just what he needed. He'd felt a surge of triumph at the last spell but then he was having to deflect the severing charm and although he managed well enough for most of it, the tail-end of it caught him in the right arm and suddenly he was very much not a useful Death Eater. At least this legitimately put him out of commission for the rest of the fight and he couldn't be accused of copping out. There had been a few close calls between the Wilkeses watching him and Lestrange being on his case.
Braith grunted, pushing out the spell from his lung even though his arm was bleeding, "Petrificus Totalus!" Without looking to see whether that spell had landed, he closed his eyes and concentrated on apparating with a loud pop.
