And that was the reason that Berk was an Auror and not a Death Eater. Perhaps not the only reason, but -- well, he could count on one hand the number of times that another Death Eater had gone to the rescue of a 'friend', nevermind a stranger.
"CONFRINGO!" Braith was very much fond of things exploding, and while he wasn't aiming for Berk (he was, rather, aiming for the stone wall not too far from him that looked like it would shatter rather nicely) he still made sure to keep his aim steady. He narrowly escaped the disarming spell and blasted up his own shield, although he wasn't sure how long it was going to last with the stunning spells barraging him.
