danielle r. rookwood ([info]curador) wrote in [info]valesco,
His wand was out immediately, cleaning up the mess, and Santiago shook his head as he knew a flush had coursed its way up his neck and to his cheeks. Deus, really, just the way to make this woman think you were at least remotely competent.

"Ah---are you? I would not have guessed," he said kindly, replacing the water in her glass with a quick spell. At least he got to show off his handy and rather fast charm work. That would be impressive, yes?

...you are a healer, Santiago. Stop trying to flirt when this woman is ill. Smethwyck was already running the healing staff ragged with a new development he'd uncovered, think of that, and maybe Jolene's fever will not reach the terrible points he'd seen it take on other patients. Take your job seriously.

"I promise I am not a ah--spaz? I am not a spaz when it comes to healing." Looking over her vitals, Santiago nodded to himself a few times, "Your fever seems to have reached a plateau, which is very good, but we still need to watch it."
