JOEY!
She wasn't particularly sure how they ended up in the boat shed as the details of the last twenty minutes were pretty foggy. There had been happy greetings, chit-chatting, venting, drinking, and now they'd stumbled into the shed and were sitting---more appropriately, laying on the bottom of one of Thomas McCormack's boats. Phoebe stared straight up into the darkness, the flickering candles they'd managed to light before clambering inside the boat giving them some sort of light
"Why are people such jerks?" she asked Joey, probably for the tenth time that evening. She and Joey, Joey and her, they'd been friends for ages, for as long as she could remember! He was the nicest bloke she knew, and look---look! His fiancee had up and cheated on him for no good bloody reason. None! He was so nice!
And then, there was Elphias. Who left her, Phoebe Chara Smethwyck, alone in the world. To find himself. She was a nice person, damn it!
"We are so nice," Phoebe said, turning to him with a great pout. "We are---there are no Ravenclaws that could even compare to our niceness, none!"
It was true. Ravenclaws did not tend to be as kind as she and Joey were. Something in their big stupid brains that stopped them from having basic human manners.
