If there had been anything in her hands, she would have snapped it in half. "Excuse me!" Larkin squawked indignantly. She, again, stopped dead in her tracks, and twirled to face Seth with an entirely rigid spine. Where in the world did he get off talking to her like that?

Larkin moved to grab the front of his robes (with the intent of shaking Seth silly), but then realized there wasn't anything to grab except for his bare chest. So instead she let out a frustrated noise, and threw her hands up into the air.

"I did not--" Well that wasn't exactly true. "I don't know what---" That wasn't true either. Larkin's face contorted as she jammed her hands onto her hips, now having completely forgotten about everything else besides Seth Wadcock and his offensive manner of speech. "It just--- happened!" she let out exasperated, the truth finally slipping out.

Which! Had been true! Was true. In the heat of the moment, it had just... well... it was difficult to explain! It was complicated. She didn't know why she had... well maybe she did a little, sometimes she just initiated things without thinking--- she shook her head.

"And he hadn't just woken up, he'd been---" Larkin stopped herself, and looked at Seth incredulously. What in the---

"-- I am not talking to you of all people about this!" She waved her hands in a shooing manner at him, but it was to no real effect. As Seth retreated back, Larkin had now taken to trailing behind him, spewing as she went.

"I am a cursebreaker Wadcock! Unlike other select occupations that include just flying about for no real purpose, I have to go places, places that are far away, and then stay there until the job is done. I can't just flit about wherever I like, and you---" Larkin pointed her finger at Seth now, a flustered and aggravated frown on her face. "I should have left you in Turkish prison!"
